If I have a car leaking oil, how often should I wash the mat?

The mat will contain the oil drip and can be pressure washed with a degreaser to clean the mat as often as you like. However, I would suggest using either cardboard or a large flat drip pan in the area your where you vehicle leaks and keeping the mat clean. A square 32” x 32” pan that is used under a washing machine makes a great drip pan for a large area. This is what I do with an antique vehicle that sometimes drips.

Does the top surface dry to touch after absorbing oil? Want it to work under car, but don't want oil/fluids to transfer onto clothes while working

Right after absorbing oil, the surface will be wet. The oil/fluids could transfer to your clothes.

would this work for parking a electric golf cart on Sometimes the batteries will leak a few drips after a long charge

Yes, it will work for an electric golf cart or any small vehicles. But if your battery is leaking battery acid we do not recommend it because it will damage the mat.
