Review: So pleased with this purchase! Rufus helped me pick this out from quite a few options. This is my first time interacting with this kind of appliance. We like to cook and recently purchased a chest freezer. This allows us to break down whole salmon fillets, pork, loins, and family packs of meat and freeze in portions. Vacuum sealing assures there’s no freezer burn. It is easy to see what is in the package one can write on the bags with a sharpie and things lay neatly in the freezer. I can seal a bag of chicken in marinade, wash the exterior of the bag with soap and water and then put that in the refrigerator without worrying about leaks, cross-contamination or having to re-organize to make space for a bowl or something. Because the seal is air tight it’s possible to put things to marinade a couple days in advance without problem. Great for meal prep and preplanning. We use both the bags that it comes with as well as a roll . We have yet to use the attachment to seal mason jars, but plan to in the future. As an entry level vacuum sealer, this seems to check every functional box. It is easy to clean and takes up very little space. It does take a little practice to get the hang of it, especially when you’re dealing with marinades and juicy things. There is a reservoir to catch liquid but it takes a bit of Finesse to determine how big of a bag you need and how much extra space is needed at the top. The roll comes in handy in those cases because the user determines the size . Fortunately, I drip in finesse. We double seal everything but that’s just an abundance of caution. The roll bags for instance, have a different thickness of plastic then the bags that come with the unit.

**Q: What is the difference between "Vac & Seal" and "Pulse Vac "functions?**
A: For dry foods, it is recommended to use the "Vac & Seal" function. Vacuum Sealing foods with liquids, soft, fragile, or easily deformed foods, "Pulse Vac" function is suggested.

**Q: Why is my vacuum sealer not creating a proper vacuum?**
A: The reason is that the vacuum bag opening is not completely placed in the vacuum chamber, and the air in the vacuum bag cannot be pumped out. Please place the vacuum bag opening correctly.

**Q: How to use Pulse Vac function ?**
A: Press and hold the "Pulse Vac" button until the desired vacuum level is reached, then release the button, machine will automatically seal. If the liquid is drawn out of the bag, press the “Seal” button again after the automatic sealing is finished.

**Q: Why is the machine not sealing successful?**
A: When using the "Seal "function, wait for the "Seal "indicator light to turn off after the sound of the vacuum pump stops before opening the lid.

Easy to use! Quick delivery. My old sealer I had to try and lift the bag up into it because vacuum tray was like 3 in off the counter and it was just really hard to use. Also it was impossible to keep it on moist or dry food to keep from crushing stuff. This one is so nice you just hit the button until you see where it's vac'd where you want it and then let go of the button and it automatically seals. If you want all the air out you just push vac/seal it sucks it all out and seals it in one step. It's very easy to lay the bag on the counter and fit the top of it into the device. Easy to lock and unlock. I highly recommend it this is my third brand and I like this one the best. Also, I used it to reseal foil bags into smaller sizes and it worked well for that too. Talking about the bags chips come in. I was able to seal my chips without crushing them. I like it so much I purchased another one for future use
