Is this double sided ?

Yes it is. One side is less abrasive than the other. Excellent product. This is my second one. The first one lasted for more years than I can tell. When it clearly showed signs of wear I was determined to get another identical one if possible. This seemed an impossibility in local Boots, other chemists etcetera so I was much relieved when Amazon was able to provide.
