Very pleased to find this brand and the quality. First Cold Pressed As local as I could find - California Glass bottle- painted white to protect from sun. Bottle is decorative with wooden cap - nice look for gift The taste is very robust. It will take over some recipes. I was used to using avocado oil in baked goods previously - but this one in full quantity took over the flavor of my zucchini cake and that was all I could taste. If you are making a lightly seasoned dish of any kind- start out small. I will for sure order again

This is the worst Avocado Oil I have ever tasted. I bought it because they state 'it's light and buttery'. Not the bottle I received. It is the most bitter, terrible tasting Avocado Oil ever. You can't get the taste out of your mouth, without eating lemon & a bit of the lemon peel. I can't seem to find other flavors that pair with it or mask/cover the flavor. I've tried a few sample dishes to see if there is another use for it, I haven't found one. What a waste of money.

They should note in the description that this oil has a strong and unusual taste. I’ve purchased other high-quality avocado oils with no issues. This was my first time using this particular oil. This oil ended up ruining a double batch an expensive brownie mix. The brownies have a very odd/displeasing taste to them. I’ve been making these brownies for many years with no incident. I opened this brand new bottle of avocado oil to use in the brownies. After I tasted them, I went back and smelled the oil and it was clear that the taste in the brownies was coming from the oil itself. Trying to decide if I should bear with them or throw them out. Again, expensive brownie mix.The taste actually leaves a nasty after-taste in my mouth. Even after brushing my teeth. I was curious as to whether this was a one time, anomaly, however, after reading reviews it appears that this taste is displeasing to others as well. Please be aware that if you’re cooking with this oil that it will alter the taste of what you are preparing. Be sure that you like the taste of this oil before you ruin a good meal or dessert.

been usin this oil for a while now and it's been real good. i use it mostly for fryin stuff and makin eggs or veggies in the pan. don’t smoke up the kitchen like some other oils do. got a nice clean taste too, not super strong or weird smellin. feels a bit fancy without costin too much. i even tried it on salad one time and it was chill, just a lil thick for that maybe. bottle's a good size and lasts me a decent bit. no weird aftertaste or nothin. think it’s a good pick if you're tryin to cook a bit healthier.
