Dockers Men's Gordon Leather Dress Captoe Oxford Shoe, Black, 8 D(M) US

Quick delivery. Fit was nice. Comfortable considering I'm always on my feet (middle school teacher).

A size W (W for Wide) is not the same as a D used is standardized foot width measurement here in the U.S. My shoe size, according to the local shoe store, is 8 ½ D (8 ½ is length and D is width). Oddly enough after switching from an 8 ½ W to an 8 ½ D with the Dockers Men’s Gordon Cap Toe Oxford the shoe is still too large though a D is narrower than a W. The next narrower size, according to a sizing chart, is a B or a C. There is no B or C available for the Dockers Oxford I prefer. I tried a Gordon Cap Toe Oxford size 8 from Docker’s next. The size 8 D Gordon Cap Toe Oxford fits well.

I guess you get what you pay for, and that needs to be taken under consideration. But over-all I am not very impressed with this shoe. Construction is a bit cheap. Leather wrinkles pretty quick and the stitching is starting to fray a little. Not a very comfortable shoe either. Sole is not padded very well, and it's a bit tight on my foot, even though it's the right size. Overall, I expect them to last maybe 1.5 to 2.5 years tops. Next time I'll pay more and get a better shoe.

I really like these shoes but did have to add insoles for my comfort. I recommend this product/seller and I was not paid for this review in anyway.

Llevo 2 años comprando este calzado, y la verdad es de buena calidad.. Espero que este segundo para diré igual que el anterior. El único inconveniente el coste del envío y costes de aduana pero de ahí bien.
