Thermometer works fine but they have poor magnets. Magnets are too weak to stick to anything. It looks like they removed the word magnetic from the ad. There are pictures of the magnets on the back of the thermometer, but they are almost useless.

Great little piece of kit. I bought this some time ago and the battery has lasted ages without needing replaced. The display is clear and easy to read, it turns on automatically when you pull the spike out, so it's easy to use, and is backlit if needed. It updates quickly and has contributed to a number of delicious smoked, baked, air-fried and barbecued dishes. Does exactly what you need and came for a great price too. I'm assuming the accuracy is good, because no-one has fallen ill through undercooked meat that I've prepared (that I know of!). And yes, I did stick it in my mouth to test it, and it gave me a believable reading.

This thermometer works great and is reasonably priced! The digital reading box is nice and big so easy to see what the internal temperature is
