But I had to reorder one size larger; since I do not care for an overly snug fit that over-accentuates every curve and bump. The dress is a great casual or smart-casual item. While not required, I think the skirt flows better with a half slip. The dress had about 4“ of “ease” in the waist, so it flowed slightly away from my midsection; but still lightly defined the upper waist in a flattering way. The neckline was modest even on my shorter frame. The black and white design was not too busy for me. It was a hot August day, and this was a nice, comfortable, nice style outfit for dinner with the ladies.
