Can it clone existing network?

Yes . It’s very easy with the WPS button your router for the first extender. Then there is a setting in the extender to clone network which affects any additional extenders. You need a TPPLC utility on your phone or iPad to modify the settings in the extenders

do these do wireless?

Not these ones, no. Though there is a wireless TP-Link version available: TP-Link TL-WPA4220KIT 2-Port Powerline Adapter WiFi Starter Kit.

How many adapters are in the box? One or two?

Sorry I don’t have the one that can also be used as a socket but I got 2 adaptors and 2 cables in the set, presume it would be the same as you need both for it to work

Hi, if you connect these adapters to your router will it make your internet speed faster at all?

It depends! If you are using WiFi to connect to your router then these could give you faster speeds. You are only ever as fast as your weakest link. That has traditionally been the WiFi connection but any of your electrical cabling, network cables, router ports, wifi chip in your phone / tablet / computer could be your weakest link. An example would be where you pay for 150Mbps broadband and only achieve 40Mbps when using WiFi. Connecting directly to your router using a network cable and achieving close to 150Mbps would prove that WiFi is your problem. Buying these to connect separate rooms up to your router could help give a quicker connection.
