We love Little Tykes products and this toy is no exception. It is sturdy, the perfect size for clumsy little hands and in bright and inviting colours kids love. My just-turned two year old can spend an hour batting the balls about the backyard and in the direction of the goal when promted. Great for hand eye coordination and making up games to teach how to take turns, pass back and forth etc. So many possibilities. He also likes loading up and carting the caddy about. I see this growing with him as he begins to engage in pretend play. I don't know why other reviewers stressed about the assemby. You need a flat head screwdriver or kitchen knife (4 screws) and a hammer (or anything heavyish like a small rock, brick, fry pan etc.) to lightly tap the wheels together. It took this moderately handy Mom all of five minutes.
