Works great , I'm legally blind in my left eye and 20/200, this magafier is a God send.

STOP. Do NOT buy this worthless, lousy piece of garbage disguised as a floor magnifying glass. I did because my eyesight has suffered in recent months. My buyer's remorse suffered a lot more not 20 minutes after opening the box. Let's start with the base: it feels flimsy and light, like you could skip it across a lake, which coincidentally is where this magnifier belongs -- at the bottom of Lake Michigan. Next, the arm joints did not screw into the base firmly. Instead they remained loose and popped out of thread, causing the whole thing to tilt at an awkward angle. The holding pin in the upper joint did a lackluster job at keeping the neck from swiveling. Its poor wobbly construction, helped by a stray breeze from my desk fan, was enough to topple it over. Unbelievably, the head that houses the magnifying glass cracked and popped out of its cheap, plastic shell during its first adjustment. The neck felt stiff to move, which made this magnifying glass' functionality and ease of use questionable at best. I didn't test its brightness. There was no point. Back in the box it went for a swift return. What irritates me especially is that the images used to advertise this product are, in my opinion, downright deceitful. A quick glance at the pictures suggests you're getting a tall floor magnifying glass with a cord that has sufficient length to stretch under a couch, or at least your armchair. I can assure you, looks are deceiving. Do your own measurements and ignore the photos. I felt cheated. This product is rated one star because I cannot rate it any less. It's an insult to other one-star items. It doesn't deserve to be in the same sentence with stars, unless you can summon the god-like strength to hurl this atrocious, rotten, shoddy excuse for a magnifier into the heart of the sun. Do not buy this awful product, unless you want to risk punishing yourself or the person it's intended for. Save your money and get something else.

Easy to position the neck

I like this magnifying glass and the fact that it has a light that helps a great deal when looking at a map that has very small and light lines on it. What I don't like is that it is very delicate. I drop it a very short distance when it was in the bag and it cracked and ran in a half-circle. I am not sure I would purchase it again for that reason.

Great magnifying glass. The angled handle is a super design feature, and the LED lights really do a good job. My mom rcvd one as a Christmas gift, we were so impressed we ordered two more to have handy around the house. The item is well made, sturdy, and seems like should last for many years. We use at least one every day.

my wife became blind in one eye, so light and magnification became critical immediately. We now have two of these, and they help her immensely. Good led lights, clear glass, very convenient for all uses. Recommended.

It’s two tall to the flex section. It’s quite stiff and hard to position. The base isn’t heavy enough. Bought it for mom 99 years old and only has partial sight in one eye. She thinks it will work for her but she has to hold it with one hand and her book with the other. Like all things the cord is too short 😢

Magnifying glass is wavy and gave such a distorted view of my project it was essentially useless. The lighting options were really nice though. I will be returning.

I ordered this for my elderly dad. The 3x magnify works great and the lights make a big difference for him.

Works very well and the lights are a nice bright white. Not too heavy and a big enough screen to see things clearly.

Comes with a nice little pouch and a tiny cleaning cloth. It works well, but sometimes it is hard to hold a book open as well as hold the magnifier. It may be more useful for examining small items, such as for stamp collections. When you keep the book open at the right distance beneath the lens it can be a great help to those with impaired vision.

I already have one and use it frequently I bought this one for my mom to help her see labels better.

This is a highly unusual and exceptionally useful device if you have trouble reading small print. The adjustable lights provide just the amount that you need to see clearly and the magnification is enough to see well without a strain. It isn't super-powerful so it doesn't distort what you want to read. Highly recommended for reading small print ONLY.
