It takes time and refresh with warm milk after a couple of days
Didn't think the powder was going to work but used less milk than suggested and eventually the kefir grains began to form. Really good product, too soon to feel health benefits. Easy to follow instructions. Nice fizz and pleasant taste

I recommend ! I think the instructions need more details so I did a research and the second time I prepared it worked amazingly!. So just warm the milk as it says and once it gets to room temp. (If not they may burn and won’t work)Add it to a Masson jar and add the powder use a “wooden or plastic”spoon “cover”it with a dark cloth !!!and let it settle room temperature min 24 hrs . I drank half of the jar and left the other half until next morning stirred carefully a bit and had the rest . The taste is amazing . I read the more you leave it the stronger the taste . There are no grains with this procedure though it just becomes like a yougurt bit tangy , acid and creamy. I saw that mixing with fruit the sugars may give you an upset stomach and as I don’t know I just had it on its own in the morning . Good luck ! Ps: in the video is after 34hrs stir and drink

This does not work the packets are far too small, followed instructions eactly and it does nothing waste of money, considering the cost it is ridiculous, Do not buy this

Good quality kefir, but these are powdered starter sachets not grains
I bought this expecting live kefir grains that could be grown and reused, but the sachets actually contain powdered starter cultures, not traditional grains. That wasn’t entirely clear to me from the listing so it’s worth knowing before you buy. That said, the kefir itself turned out really well. It fermented properly and tasted good.

A bit misleading as I thought these were the grains that could be reused. Turns out it is a powder 5 sachets of single use. Haven’t tried it yet but will now need to purchase the proper grains. My fault for not understanding properly.

Lets see where to start. I almost decided this method was too time consuming (4 hours for milk to cool from 181 degrees back to 77 with constant stirring, refridgerating, and turning on the AC in the middle of winter) but my goodness, it made a delicious super creamy thick kefir. I have already subscribed and will maintain the subscription. After the milk cooled (1 gallon), I added 4 sachets and mixed them in really well and divided the milk into 3 cup jars, then wrapped them in cups towels and put them in my dollar general insulated cold bags and let them set for 36 hours. Yum... Worth every minute. Now that I know how long it takes for the milk to cool, I will schedule different activities and wont worry about the stirring and temping.
