Got these Govee LED strip lights (the 100ft version) for my kid’s room and they’ve been awesome so far. The lights are super bright and the colors really pop. They love the music sync feature — it actually reacts to whatever music is playing, which turns their room into a little party. Setup was really simple. Just peel the backing and stick it where you want it. Took maybe 20 minutes to get it all up. The app is easy to use too — you can pick different colors or scenes, and my kid figured it out pretty quickly. Honestly, for the price, these lights are a great way to make a room more fun. Plus, they seem safe and well-made, which matters when they’re going in a kid’s space. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to add some color and fun without a ton of hassle.

When I first got the LED lights, I turned them on and tested if they work (they do!). I started putting them on my wall and around the rims of the floor and wall, but (keep reading) when I tried to turn it on it didn't work and I started freaking out. Turns out I had to hurt their feelings and go through a hell of anger just to find out that I wasn't pressing the button hard enough. PLEASE IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU, SMASH THE BUTTON IN UNTIL IT TURNS ON. Also found out that the lights won't connect to Bluetooth unless you've powered them on manually and from there you can turn them on and off from your phone. Enough with the chaos, The lights were amazing. The brightness is on point and easy to adjust. There are pre-made scenes and the performance is just immaculate. The app is easy to use and not hard to manage. These led lights have scenes like "Movie" which you can turn on when watching a movie or they have "sleep" which is my personal favorite along with "sweet" which is a slow pulsing pink. These lights are great value for your money. They work perfectly. They have a long long way to go when you roll them out and go around. They have a control panel when you control it in. So if you don't have your remote you can use it. It does go for the beat of the sound or the music in the room. I use them every night. They are very nice. I had to order another set of them because I like them so much. That piece of quality is perfect. I haven't had any issues with it, but of course I also ordered hooks to help connect them too just in case the brightness out of them are great. Connectivity is perfect. I would recommend these highly adhesive quality is good

We bought the 100ft light strip about a month ago and while they are decent enough lights for the price, they still are not the greatest thing since sliced bread. They light up and do the normal things you would expect from a light strip, and the app was easy enough to attach to it, so there are lots of preset light shows, but there is no chase light where the color goes around the light strip as if it is chasing something and there is no way to really DIY your own settings except for specific color picking. Now, onto the main reason I am writing this review. The color strip is never consistent. I currently have the color on blue and there are two green lights off in the corner. Earlier I had it on white and there were three pink lights directly above me. When it is on a light color or white, there is somehow variation in the color along light strip. Some would be yellow and some would be white, but never all white or all yellow. Anywho, if you are just wanting to get a light strip to hold you over, these are pretty okay 👍
