This is the ultimate beginners kit! Had every tool I needed and the bag is cute too! I would recommend this to any beginner or even someone looking for a good kit!

Though the wool is quite thin it is good quality, the hooks are well made and nice to work with. This is perfect for a beginner kit and great for the money, it didn’t come with any instructions but there’s pleanty of videos of YouTube that I used to help.

The best starter kit ever! I’ve been using this for over a year, learned how to crochet with this kit and I only use these crochet hooks. The only small thing is that the hooks are slipping from the rubber thing but I guess that’s just normal wear and tear. Would recommend this kit for beginners and even experienced people that crochet!

Instead, I have entered what I can only describe as a fibrous psychological journey. The kit arrives looking extremely friendly. Cute yarn, hooks, instructions that imply “you’ve got this.” Lies. All lies (lovely lies, but still). First 20 minutes: I am a crafts genius. I am making loops. I am creating structure. I am basically building architecture. Hour 1: I have accidentally invented a shape that defies geometry and possibly God. Hour 2: I am negotiating with yarn. The yarn is winning. That said… it is weirdly addictive. Every time I think “I’ll just stop here,” I hear the siren call of “one more stitch” like I’m in a very soft-spoken gambling situation. The kit is actually great: * Everything is included (so no emergency 11pm “why is there no stuffing” crisis) * Instructions are clear enough to give hope, vague enough to build character * Yarn quantity is generous unless you make mistakes… which you will… emotionally and physically Final result: I have created a small crocheted object that looks like it survived a storm but is, technically, identifiable as an object. Would I recommend it? Yes. Would I trust myself unsupervised with it again? Absolutely not.

I like that if has many materials and tools that you could use but the main disadvantage is the yarns. They are not of great quality and they’re difficult to handle for a beginner

This is an ideal gift for a new crochet starter. You will need to supplement with patterns and guides, but this gives you tools and materials. Ideal for our cat loving daughter and great to have a place to pack everything away neatly.
