The bag has lots of room - as you would expect for something that showcases a 40L container being packed in the bag. Currently, we've used it already for multiple activities - hiking (just to see - didn't go camping though) and more impressively, for softball. Softball - main compartment holds cleats, glove, masks, sock, and whatever other things you may need. There are two water bottle holders, one of each side. They conveniently hold a bat (it holds a 27" bat just fine - a 30" should be okay as well). Naturally, you can put a bat on each side. For a batting helmet, I added to smaller carabiners to one of the loops to clasp onto the helmet's mask and it sits on the outside of the bag, right in the middle. Now, softball was not the intention - but, it will definitely do the job. The only thing this doesn't have it a clip to hang on a fence, but a nice, solid carabiner could be added to the top loop strap to do the job. We're enjoying it so far.

The FENGDONG 40L Waterproof Lightweight Outdoor backpack feels a bit cheap, but for the price it’s honestly not bad. I took it to Disneyland and was able to fit a lot of stuff in it, which was really convenient. It’s lightweight and gets the job done. For a budget option, you really can’t go wrong.

Purchased back in 2021, and finally coming back to leave a review after it started failing. For the price, I really didn't expect this to hold up for 3 years. There's some uses I'd recommend for this, and some I wouldn't. If you're mostly using this to carry items back and forth to your office, like I used it for 2.5 years, I think this product would hold up indefinitely. The downfall of this product was when I started to use it to travel extensively about 6 months ago. The zippers started to freeze up and corrode after they had gotten wet in the rain. I was in a high-humidity environment, so they likely weren't able to dry out well. They corroded to the point that I was no longer able to open them, and had to resort to cutting open the bag to access my items. A higher quality zipper would likely not have had these issues, but again, for the price point, it's about the level of quality I'd expect. If you want this bag for mostly indoor use or brief outdoor use, it's a great buy. It has plenty of room, plenty of compartments, and can hold quite a bit of weight without an issue. I'd advise looking for a higher price-point item if you're looking to use it for something like hiking or extended travel, though.
