Just changed 5 stars to 1. It was a great drink, but they changed the recipe about a year ago, since then it tastes more like soap, but the last batch we bought was plain spoiled, with a fermented, alcoholic taste. I contacted San Pellegrino (Nestle) and they recorded all the info about the boxes and then offered nothing, just told me to get a refund from Amazon. Reading some of the recent reviews it wasn't only ours that gone bad. Way to completely ruin a great drink.

I have been buying this item on subscription for a very long time and was so disappointed that they changed the ingredients. Product tastes nothing like the original, not as tart and refreshing and it has less fizz. Product has more calories, degraded flavor and little fizz, at same price as original. Not great. This must-have product is now an item I cannot drink. Why not keep the better ingredients and charge a bit more? I would have paid more for quality. Now, you will get no money from me.

As another reviewer has pointed out: they’ve cheaped out and removed lemon juice from the ingredients. They replaced it with just concentrate & extract, which means each can tastes like a vaguely sugar-flavor soda with slight bitterness, rather than lemon or citrus. Redesigned cans also now highlight made with “juice” rather than “lemons” so, more cost cutting nonsense. Done with these.

It’s tastes old and like it was expired. I threw it all away.

This is my opinion of the taste only, everyone has different tastes. I've been looking for a drink to help kick the worse, more sugary syrup sodas and decided to give this try. I really just don't like sparkling water, something about it is so bitter and unpleasant, but I went out a limb to try these. It does not taste sweet at all, which is a shame because it does contain a significant amount of sugar. I do get the lemon flavor but to me it doesn't taste like lemon juice, in fact it hit that the taste is reminiscent of lemon pith- bitter. Like liquid lemon pith. I'll finish this case since I've already got it, but I won't reorder more
