Really happy with this purchase so far, got this due to my cat taking a liking to peeing on the carpet particularly in one spot. Set up is really easy with this product so that's a big plus for me. So little back story, I vacuumed the hell out of my floor prior to using this on it. I'm talking I spent about an hour going over and over the floor. Well after using this machine I realized just how much cat fur is rlly embedded into my carpet. The suction on this is crazy, because it was spitting out fur balls left and right, which I'm fine with. It's better than it clogging up the system. Needless to say my floors look tons better and smell way better too. The cleaning tool they give you with the machine comes in real handy, wiping down and emptying the bin is real simple and straight forward. The cleaning paw pacs that come with the machine smell great and work really well, no more cat pee smell on the carpet! So overall I think this was a great value and I'm happy with it. The picture I added is of the bin after a few minutes of going over the carpet, absolutely gross what is pulled up!

This little machine is mighty.I have owned hoover cleaners for years.They were big and heavy.This is light and powerful.Love it.

This is a terrific little machine. It is easy and effective to use for cleaning the carpet of pet debris and other dirt the cleaning solution is fabulous . Just one problem. There must be a better way to remove and replace the bottom plate that covers the roller and belt. What a pain to remove six little screws every time it needs to be cleaned. And, it really needs to be cleaned after every use. What about a latch of some kind?

AMAZING! I just got a puppy and as u can imagine,he's had many accidents. But every sport of urine or diarrhea is COMPLETELY gone after using this. First u scrub it,then run just hot water thru it and scrub again and the stains are 100% gone!!! I didn't know how well it would work bc the price is so affordable,but it has been amazing. DEFINITELY purchase this!

Lightweight and works well

This was such a waste of money. I vacuumed with a Dyson ahead of using the carpet cleaner. Still, the Hoover started clumping and leaving piles of dirt. I had an old Hoover which worked wonderfully, so this was a disappointment. I had to junk it and get a Bissell instead.

This little unit is a powerful cleaner. It is lightweight as advertised, easy to assemble, and use. I used it last night in a bedroom where the carpet hadn't been shampooed in a couple of years, since my Bissell Big Green Clean machine stopped working. I did two shampoo passes and two plain hot water passes, and was still pulling really gross water and so much hair from the rug. After four passes, I wore out and decided to go at it again this coming weekend. The machine comes with some sample cleaners, which is great, so you can try it out right from the box. Because I was getting so much dog hair from the carpet, I had to unscrew the rotator and belt cover so I could thoroughly clean all of the gunky hair out until next time. If you're lucky enough not to be dealing with as much pet hair as I was, you'll likely find it pretty easy to clean the unit prior to next use. I'm quite happy with this purchase.

Actually this carpet cleaner works really well for being compact and lightweight. But the clean up process afterwards is a bit of a nightmare. I think I was sent an older model because the videos i looked at when considering it showed a model with dirty water tank that had a removable lid. The model I was sent just has a 1 1/2” hole on side to try to empty with. With dirt, dog hair amidst multiple tubes in the tank, cleaning it out is a nightmare. Be sure you get what is shown on website. Have tried to get Hoover to respond to concerns without any satisfaction. Totally not happy with Hoover.

I ordered this Hoover carpet cleaning machine and at the very first minute I turned it on I started to see fire lights inside the machine and very bad smoke smell all my electricity at home was shot down so I quickly pulled out the wire and un plugged it from electricity then all my carpet had a very bad black dust as if the machine was on fire and all the black dust came out to the carpet. It was very unsafe and it seems there was technically issues.
