What can I truly say about this rosary? Well it arrived sooner than expected, it is very sturdy and very well made. I especially like the fact that it is really solid and more durable than the other rosary that I had at one time. I know that it will last a very long time and will serve me well. I don't know if anyone has ever felt such a sense of calmness and peace from just having a holy item in their hand. But as soon as I opened my package and took the rosary out of its pouch I felt immediate peace in myself. But let me just say if you are looking for a rosary that will last for many years and don't mind the weight than look no further than rugged rosaries. This is the 3rd Rugged Rosary that I have purchased. This one is for me, the others have been for my sisters and we all love them. The certainly live up to the name "Rugged Rosaries" because each one I have purchased will last a lifetime. At the same time the are truly beautiful. You can see that they are a work of love in the attention to detail. This Ashes to Ashes Rosary is very masculine which I like since I'm a 72 year old man. It's heavy and I like the feel of the big crucifix with St. Benedict. My fingers no longer have the dexterity that they had 30 years ago so the larger beads on the paracord allow me to keep track of my "Hail Mary's" without getting lost. My mind is still quite sharp, but my external appendages are starting to show 72 years of wear and need some maintenance and assistance.

I bought one of these after my kids broke several of my cheaper rosaries. Don't even hesitate, just buy one. Very well made. Larger than most rosaries but I love mine.

I got this for my husband as a gift when he was about to become a father. He’s in the habit of tangling and breaking delicate rosaries. He tends to fall asleep with them in his hand at night and walks around with them in his pocket during the day. This rosary is perfect for him. He likes the size of the crucifix and beads in his man fingers. It’s held together for 11 months so far (even when the baby got his hands on it!) and still looks as strong as ever. I’ve come to look forward to the bell-like sound of the beads and crucifix clinking together. I love all the extras that came with the rosary (pictured). The other photo shows what his looks like next to mine. I’m looking forward to getting one for my son when he’s older!
