SOLO2 DL GPS Lap Timer and Dash Logger with OBD2 Data Connection Cable (X47 Series)

I have a version with OBD cable - it works superb. The amount of flexibility of settings you get is amazing - using the software on PC you can define what screens you see, what data to display on each screen, at what position, set your own labels - do what you want. The analysis tool is also very very good. One minor niggle is battery runs out of juice pretty fast - even with WIFI at OFF it won't last 30 minutes - but no problem to connect cigarette lighter power cable or OBD cable which also charges the device.

Don't buy this timer, it wont show lap times and i have emailed the company 3 times with no response $800 spent and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it.

It worked fine until yesterday when I got to the track I charged it the night before. And when I put it on the bike it would not turn on. So I plugged it back into a wall outlet and it powered right up. It showed a full battery so I unplugged it and it immediately died again. It will not turn on unless it is plugged into a power source. It worked fine a few weeks ago. I have no clue as to why it would just stop working all of the sudden AIM has not responded to my email yet. Buyers Beware.

What can I say... one of the most popular gps laptimer for racers... I received a UK model. As long as the warranty on it is good, it’s good.

Unit does all you want for timing and track data Software and setup are very difficult to understand and use. YouTube videos are a must to learn anything. There is no help desk or chat room for assistance There are classes but they are few and far between with an emphasis on advanced use If you’re a newbie to AIM and don’t have a high level of software proficiency prepare to invest many hours

Be aware this product requires Windows to run the Race 3 program. The iPhone app is still pending.
