It's soft, truly non-slip, lays flat and amazed me by how well it holds up after putting it in the washing machine. Even after several washings, all the above holds true. Our rug was truly filthy at one point from muddy shoes. I didn't think it would all come out in the wash, but it did! Good as new once again. Can't recommend enough.
