Good shoe for warm weather hiking
Recovering from a foot fracture + surgery (5th metatarsal avulsion fracture with ORIF), I was looking for a shoe that would provide both cushion and stability underfoot, as well as good traction and secure lacing. Normally I am a Danner fan, but this shoe pleasantly surprised me. Comfy, good heel-to-toe transition with 6 mm offset, good breathability. I have not tried trail running in them, but they performed very nicely on three moderate difficulty hikes so far. Cannot speak for the outsole durability yet, but the upper seems to handle abuse pretty well. Overall, a good hiking shoe.

Great shoes! They stand up to the wear and tear of an active young man. We have bought a backup pair just in case the style changes.

Fits well for my wider feet and look great too!
Shoes work well, use them in the gym and for some light running. I love the style and they fit my somewhat wide-ish feet. Love the Scarpa brand.
