A young female assassin seeks revenge against the people who killed her family. Review: Lots of action, interesting use of “tools” and high quality Combat choreography! - It’s Definitely a JW film! ..with some new characters and interesting story line. I’ve been waiting for this one, I found it to be worth the wait! Lots of action, AdA looks great and both the Audio and Video should make you happy! Ps..the bigger the screen, the better!! Review: Great Addition Okay film - I was really struggling to give it 5 stars. It's a good addition to the series but it's definitely not John Wick. A prime example of a very long extended fight scenes is not available in this, instead they're more short clips. Basically, the traditional action filming that Hollywood does. The actress was great, and they have her taking a ton of damage, this isn't one of those action films where there's a woman and she's invincible! She takes ALOT more than John. Barely in some fights pushing threw. Yes, I'm aware that John Wick suffers a similar invincibility trap, but the guy takes heavy damage. And is meant to be the boggy man, who kills the boggy man. However, I wasn't expecting it to happen to her, and it does. I would say even worse than John Wick. So while she is a trained assassin, she is also super exposed. Does not seem to have the exact same bulletproof clothing if I'm mistaken or very limited. You see her mostly dodging and having her be creative. Her creativity isn't super noticeable it's very subtle, like closing a door with a bomb hypothetically being aware of her surroundings and locking the door with an item for example so nobody can escape. She's not some hyper genius. It's funny that they added scenes from Part 3 For this I'm not going to say which part but you notice which one and I felt that when I saw the original part three, they were Because things in the background rarely happen unless they're important. going to use something with it because she's in the background of the original, but you don't see her face. Normally they never add background of people in scenes focused unless they're important and I remember in JW3 when that solo character was in the background that she would play an important role and she did. From what I remember reading the director said they never had long takes but experimented with this one and he realized through feedback the long takes of John Wick are superior, plus of course it would be more demanding on the actress. Either way it's fun and entertaining. It does have beginning and an end for them to make a continuation. Wouldn't make any sense possible yes but maybe 20% because she reaches the end of the journey. The only way would be incorporating her into John Wick 5 which they already announced. The audio is phenomenal if you have a 3D atmos setup. And some of the fight scenes are memorable like the flamethrower.

Great Movie "From the World of John Wick"
I saw this at the theater. Of course I went with the understanding this was not a "John Wick" movie but one from the "world" of John Wick. With that in mind I found it to be very entertaining, full of action and explained a lot about the world of John Wick which we never got from the first three. Ballerina starts from the beginning being action packed. The main character's father never wanting his daughter to have the same type of life that he and John Wick had. But sadly she is forced into it through a series of violent events. She is then bent on getting her revenge. In the first films we never really understand why the ballerinas were there. In this film you learn exactly why and see them trained right along with the men as John Was. Again it's not about John Wick, it's about the little girl Eve. But John does appear in the film. It takes place somewhere between John Wick 3 and 4. I thought the directors did an excellent job of integrating John's appearance in the film without taking away from the character Eve. It is her story not his, but her meeting him at the academy was important to her finding her own path and eventually getting her revenge. The fighting scenes were very done. It's not "girl boss" film at all. Eve constantly gets her butt kicked by the much larger and stronger men she fights. The thing is that she doesn't give up..Ever. She learns to use her strengths to win each time. As her teacher tells her, "fight like a girl." I loved her interaction with John. It was very well done and meaningful. With John imparting bits of wisdom well learned from his on experiences. Again for those condemning because they thought it was yet another John Wick movie, they never said it was. They said "from" the world of John Wick. The movie filled in a lot blanks to me about the other movies. Just watch it for what it is and have fun. The woman who plays Eve starred along side Keanu in other films before this. One of them was Knock Knock which I also recommend. Not for kids though. But for anyone who is a fan of the John Wick series or just an action fan, I highly recommend the movie.

An Entertaining Movie and Spin-off from the John Wick Series
An interesting movie spinoff from the John Wick series including a cameo appearance from Keanu Reeves. The movie is entertaining but does not have live up to the John Wick standards. However, it does stand on its own while it carries forward some of the themes from the predecessor series. I rate it as fun entertainment and worth watching if you liked the John Wick series. There is plenty of action after a slow start and it includes the requisite violence of the parent series.

Eve Kicks Bad Guy Butt!!!
This is a great movie and a fine addition to the World Of John Wick. I watched the deleted and extended scenes but haven't watched all of the extras yet. If you like great action movies, you'll thoroughly enjoy this.

Nice added "scenario" to the John Wick series (although very limited scenes with .......Mr. Wick .
Nice movie , that delves into a different aspect of someone joining Wicks "house" , basically to act revenge a certain but different "house" , ignoring the repercussions that it may present for her personally and others ( her house) . ~ Script was fairly well done , as you never loose where you are or going in the movie , and you find its definitely a typical but nice add on to the Wick series . The 4k version looks xint , clear and colorful , with a rare few spots where dark scenes are a tad too dark (but seldom , short and forgiving) A definite purchase for any Wick's fan !

Wonderfully fun, over-the-top action movie
Just what you'd expect from a movie set in the John Wick universe. Don't expect a strong, meaningful plot or message. Do expect lots of fights. Ana de Armas has raised the bar for female-centric action.

Eve Macarro - Ballerina is a John Wick protege. After her father’s death, she begins training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma to seek revenge. Eve learns to fight - hand to hand combat, martial arts, pain control, weapons training with guns and knives, psychological warfare and is now a family member of Ruska Roma. One bullet well placed, can change the world. Babayaga is contracted to eliminate Eve, but has a change of heart and assists Eve in fighting the Cult. Rules and consequences.
