Water proof, good support and true to size
With people saying the sizes are inconsistent I was a little apprehensive about buying these boots.. I was surprised. I work in construction so I need a boot that has a tough sole and Can hold up with in dirt or water. These are the best of boat worlds. Comfort and stability. I was working on a downpour one day for ten hours and my toes stayed dry all day. The laces are long which is good to wrap around the ankle. Very good boot. One month update:These boots are water proof still, and dry out quickly in the rain. The hold up really well and the soles are tough. They are well supportive of my feet and even though one of the shoe laces broke, I am quite happy. I would buy them again.

The Elk and Mountain red color combo are great looking! (Subjective)
I bought these boots mainly for day hikes. They've seen high desert, mountain and muddy terrains.Pros: The Elk and Mountain red color combo are great looking! (Subjective). Got them in my regular size (9) and they fit nicely with cotton socks. They are light and comfortable after the break-in period. Boots are waterproof enough for shallow creeks and muddy puddles along trails.Cons: Three months and less than 15 miles on these, one of the top lace hook rivets completely fell off. This prevents me from lacing the boots in a heel lock.I was expecting to get more mileage out of these boots. For the price, they are not bad. Everything else is still in place and holding up aside from the rivet.

Great Boots
I purchased these boots when I moved to North Dakota. Lots of snow and very cold. Moved back to the Lake of The Ozarks. They were waterproof, kept my feet warm, and the snow out in ND. I wear them a lot in the winter and when doing around the house construction and when it is wet or nasty outside. They are extremely easy to get on and off. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I own. After a year of wear they are still in like new shape. Love them, would buy again.

Comfortable and Durable!
Hiked Mt. Monadnock with these boots, only thing that wasn't hurting me afterward were my feet! Super comfy and glad to have grabbed the pair before the trek!

These run very narrow.... get the wides !
While these boots look great... they don't feel so great. They really do run very narrow. Getting a size up won't help as they will be too long and still too narrow. No arch support and very limited cushioning. The grip is plenty good but your feet will be screaming at you by days end. If you do get these I recommend some 'gel' insoles at the very least and get your size in the wides.

Shoe rubber bottom coming undone with in 2 months at a 40 hrs / week schedule
I'm giving a one star review today as I have only owned these shoes since may and it is now June and on both the left and right side the rubber is coming undone. I have had to gorilla glue both sides and am seriously disappointed. All the reviews suggested that this product be perfect for hiking and landscaping. This is not true.EDIT: Checking in a few months down the road, wanted to note that if you are wearing these shoes for style, they are perfect. If you are wearing these shoes for their usefulness then they are a terrible brand to go with. These are not designed for long term hiking and or walking over wet terrain as the rubber will come undone with in a few months. The rubber of my soles has come undone completely and the fact that Columbia brand representatives haven't even spent an ounce of their time to try to reach out for feedback or to assist in resolving the problem goes to show that they don't really care what they sell you as long as they buy it. 1/10, not a quality use product, it's meant for wearing indoors to look good or for short hikes every once in a blue moon.

Best fit for regular or slightly narrow feet
Ordered this after wife got the same model and was very satisfied with the slightly narrower design but fit perfectly for her. I usually wear size 9.5 but for hiking, size 10. This pair is only slightly narrower than my other brand hiking boots off the same size. The key is because it is relatively soft, I can tie the laces tighter and it gave me a better fit without losing comfortness. Wear on a 10 day Gate1 trip to Iceland in late Sept. Wore it a few days for breaking in. It does loosen up a little. The boots kept my feet warm, almost too warm. I had to loosen up when on bus to vent or cool it down a bit. At no point did I ever feel uncomfortable. I'm a senior living in SoCal and to weekly short hikings. I had tried a few others but so far this is the most comfortable pair. I did not try to get it soaked to test it's waterproofing claim and don't plan to get wet too much in SoCal.

Highly recommend!
Very comfortable shoes. Hiked 15+ miles in rainy 35 degree weather, through deep & muddy puddles at times, and these boots kept my feet dry and warm the whole time. They also cleaned up perfectly so that the caked on mud didn’t stain them (I did spray a water and stain repellent on them prior to the hikes). They also look very nice, in myopinion.

Good boots
The boots arrived from the US a week earlier than expected, which was really nice. They fit really well and are very comfortable. They also look a lot better than on the pics. Haven't had them for long, but so far, I really like wearing them. They are comfortable, feel solid and have enough flex in them to feel right. Good value for money

A great comfortable boot, I have having problems finding a boot that doesn't cause pain but these are spot on, comfortable, the size 9 was spot on for sizing, good tread and so far waterproof.
