Needed a new battery for my 5501, this fit well and works well. Been using it for 6 months with no issues.

To test it, I left my laptop on without plugging it in, played a YouTube video in full-screen mode, and started working. The battery lasted for 4 hours. However, I can't say what the overall lifespan of the battery is or how many years it will last. This is something time will show me. Overall, I am satisfied. The battery came with all the tools I needed to quickly open the laptop and install the new battery in less than 10 minutes.. The Dell Optimizer application claimed the new battery was manufactured by LG and had excellent health. It came with 67% charge, so I let it charge up to 100% and then tested the laptop unplugged. After watching an hour and half YouTube video, browsing email and social media a bit, playing some music and editing some video clips, I still had 76% battery left with an estimated 6 hours remaining. The battery it replaced had 17% health and it lasted 20 minutes on a good day, so I am quite happy with this battery so far and hope it holds up.

Great way to add new life to an older laptop. Got this to replace the battery in my Latitude 5510 laptop and really appreciate the extra runtime compared to the aging battery. Installation is pretty straightforward, just do a search on YouTube and you will be good to go... Well worth the money!
