45 hips -def an L or XL.
I have 36 hips and medium is tight. I’m 5’7 I should have gotten a large and I am not a large typically.

Are these lined inside the crotch area?

Not lined but extremely comfortable. My favorite brand of yoga leggings. I’m a yoga instructor and teach and practice several classes a day. Love this brand!

How legit are these yoga pants? Are they true to size or are they China made and not at all fit to the size they are?

I got the pink camo. I didnt take notice of where they were made. I wasn't sure myself. I went by the comments from people. I normally wear a large in leggings/yoga pants. But for these i got an xl just in case. Worst case would be returning them for a different size. And not that i want to put this out there but since I'm helping someone, i am 170 and 5'3", not what a normal frame person would be but my legs and butt arent oversized but not skinny. They fit perfect except they are a little long. So i would say maybe a size up from your normal and just deal with the length. Its not super noticeable anyway, no one is going to look at your ankles.

I'm 5'5" and 145 lbs. what size should i order? i can't tell which is medium and which is large...

I am 5’3, 114 lbs and ordered 24W x 27L. Other than being slightly long, they fit perfectly. I normally wear a small in leggings.
