Finally! After months of trying to make my old 12.9” iPad Pro consistently work as an Extended Display using Apple’s Sidecar feature, that is built into MacOS, I finally have a dependable and just as portable solution. Not only does it wake up from sleep as fast as my MacBook Pro, but while I have used other UPERFECT monitors before, I have never been able to configure one to be quite as good of a color match to either my MacBook Pro 16” M4 Max or my LG UltraFine 27” connected to a Mac Studio (a display that was widely believed to be the one Apple used for the 5k iMacs until they were discontinued). After some tinkering, I’m really pleased with this configuration. Albeit one that may seem unusual at first, since I have it mounted to the wall above my desk's primary display. This way I can use the 15.6" UPERFECT screen as a quick reference point for documents I need to keep open, a way to keep an eye on my email inbox, or else for some video content on YouTube that I can half-watch while I’m working. Thankfully it’s only suspended via a simple clamp, so I can just as easily remove the portable display, attach it to the included magnetic Smart Case (which folds itself into two viewing angles, which is much appreciated) and either toss it into my bag or pack it away for an extended trip away from home. You’ll likely appreciate that this particular unit features a full size HDMI port, which is much more widely used than mini-HDMI. So, chances are someone will already have a cable on hand that you can use, if you happen to forget yours for whatever reason. In a unique design detail, as you may have already noticed, the ‘hole punch’ design in the bottom-left corner of the unit allows for a deceptively clever way to simply stick a pencil or a pen through, in order to stand the display up in either a horizontal or vertical configuration. Once I did my testing in various configurations of which ports to use with my two Mac computers and tweaked the display’s built-in settings within the OSD menu, which definitely takes some getting used to (but that might just be me, when I would accidentally hit the wrong button sometimes!) I came to the conclusion that it yields by far the most visually impressive results when you connect it via USB C and then use the other USB C port to connect it directly to power. Doing so with the included 30 watt power delivery power adapter works (or any other PD power adapter able to provide the display with an additional 30 watts of power). This yields a much higher level of brightness, it was staggering. Furthermore, I tweaked many picture and color settings, which you can view in the photos I’ve uploaded from the OSD menus, once I carefully compared a series of photographs against one another, in order to get them to match as closely as possible (going from my two Mac setups versus this portable UPERFECT display). With these settings in place, I can confidently say that I am extremely impressed with the value you’re getting at the current price Amazon is listing it for. The picture quality's accuracy was much closer than I would have expected, especially for the cost of entry (plus, as I mentioned, I love that it turns on immediately when woken from sleep, just like an Apple display). If you’re on the fence, I would say go for it — I think you’ll be similarly pleased.

I love these little monitors so much, I felt compelled to write a review about them. I bought one on a whim a few years ago but after discovering how handy they are, I just keep buying more for various uses around the studio and in my remote rigs. I originally just needed something small with a VESA mount so that I could clip a couple of them onto the desk and use them as "side mirrors". I ended up coughing up a bit more money than I wanted to on these Triad-Orbit clipping armatures but there are much cheaper ways to mount these monitors using the VESA mounts, but of course, you can also just use them with the magnetic case that it comes with, no mounts required. In terms of picture quality, they're great. 4K capable, but I can't use them at that resolution because the text gets too small for my old eyes, so 1080p looks great and super crisp. There's also a lot of adjustment latitude so you can get them to reference levels/colors. The brightness can be super bright as well. I work mostly in dark rooms so I end up turning the brightness down significantly but they'll handle any kind of lighting situation. Most importantly, Uperfect has GREAT customer service, which you hope you never need but if you do, they're very fast, communicate well, and go the extra mile to help you out. I recently had an issue with one of mine where I guess I must have tightened one of the VESA mount screws too tight which affected a pixel in the center of the screen. I contacted them and even though that wasn't covered under the warranty, they still happily replaced it and even sprung for shipping. Very cool. They won my respect and loyalty with that, hence this review. For my purposes, these monitors are fantastically functional, reliable, and priced perfectly.

Good portable monitor for the price. I recently switched from a macbook to a mac mini, so I needed a little monitor for when I travel. The set up was super easy and the color is quite accurate. I didn't open the package until a couple of months after I received it and found that one of the cables was missing. I reached out to customer support and they immediately responded and sent it to me. (5 stars for customer service!). The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that there are two small light green spots on the screen. They are not always noticeable, but I can see them if the background is solid. For the graphic design work and photo retouching that I do, I find that small defect a little annoying. Still a great monitor for occasional use.

I have been looking for a portable monitor to use with my 16" M1 Macbook Pro, and I first started out by trying a 1080p 15.6" display from a well known manufacturer. That display was disappointing with its dull colors and fuzzy text (although I suspect that recent retina displays may have spoiled my expectations!). I decided to try this 4K monitor, despite being a little hesitant at not having heard of the manufacturer before. When I received the unit, I was disappointed to find that it did not work well with my M1 Macbook -- for some reason, macOS thought that the default resolution was 1280x1024; even though I was able to select 3840x2160 in the display settings, the text would be too small and there were no scaling options available. Since I thought I may have been doing something wrong, I tried connecting it to my Intel Macbook, and the display worked beautifully, with all of the expected scaling options that macOS shows for other monitors. I e-mailed the customer service address listed in the user manual, and received a reply within 24 hours that indeed the monitor has some compatibility issues with M1 Macs, but there is an updated version available that fixes the issue. They promptly sent out a replacement for me to test out, and I verified that it now works great. The entire correspondence with customer service was extremely pleasant, and I was thoroughly impressed with how quickly everything was handled (especially compared to some large manufacturers that I've had to deal with). Within a week of my receipt of the original item, the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. The display itself has excellent picture quality with vivid colors and is convenient with its single USB-C connection for both the video signal and power. Some areas of improvement would be to increase the default brightness (when first connecting the display, it defaults to a brightness setting that is too low, but thankfully you only have to deal with toggling it up once), and a better way of propping up the monitor in portrait mode. Additionally, the user manual has specific instructions for where/how you should hold the monitor, which makes me slightly concerned with the long-term durability of the product -- however, I am confident that should any issues arise, the excellent customer service would be able to help resolve the issue.

Hey there fellow techies, I don't normally write detailed reviews for products, but this monitor has drastically improved my portable workstation/workflow, so I thought it would be fair to write down some of my thoughts. I have been a corporate graphic designer for the last 25 years, am obsessed with new technology, and am VERY particular about color and calibration with my digital/print art. I travel a lot for work and have been taking this monitor with me everywhere, and I feel that it is rugged enough to be tossed into a backpack or suitcase. So far, I've flown over 3500 miles with this thing in luggage and backpacks, and it's still as good as new. As far as calibration goes, I can confidently say that this monitor passes with flying colors (pun not intended). I did quite a bit of research on portable monitors (there are so many options) before purchasing this monitor, and I'm extremely happy I chose this one. After some very minor calibration (super easy to do with the buttons on the monitor), the screen actually looked better than my $3,500 OLED Alienware laptop monitor. For this reason, I am now using the 4K Uperfect portable monitor as my primary monitor for design, and my Alienware laptop monitor for research and reference. The Uperfect monitor is just as bright if not brighter than my laptop, which is awesome for daytime work. Something I really appreciate is the granular control of the menus, from 1-100 in settings (brightness, colors, volume). I feel like I have complete control over calibration, and the color reproduction is amazing. I like that the monitor remembers the settings when powering off and on, so it's a true plug and play experience. In my case, I'm using the thunderbolt port (which delivers power) on my pc and connecting to the port on the monitor that has a little monitor symbol next to it (see pic of side of unit in review, taken from an AirBNB rental while traveling). The monitor comes with many different cords, but all I needed was the included USB-C to USB-C cord. I LOVE that I can just whip out this monitor, plug in the one USB-C cable, and I'm good to go - no external plugging or power needed. Within seconds, I have a 2-monitor setup at a coffeshop and I feel like I'm living in the future. One thing I noticed while setting up - and this is more of my personal preference - you'll want to make sure you change your display settings to match on both your pc/mac/laptop display and the 4K Uperfect monitor display. This really has nothing to do with the Uperfect monitor, and everything to do with the settings of your pc/mac/laptop display. I set both laptop and uperfect monitors to display at 250%, and it is sharp and crisp as can be. On pc this would be right click on desktop > display settings > Scale and Layout. In the past, I used 1080p portable monitors, and the displays didn't match up due to the much higher pixel count on my laptop. This problem was solved with this 4K monitor, and my mouse transitions seamlessly back and forth as I design. Overall, I definitely recommend this 4K Uperfect monitor as a daily work station, especially for those who travel a lot or have the need for a rugged, bright, crisp, colorful, and portable monitor. It's really a great value for the price and has quickly become an essential addition to my design arsenal. Cheers!

Portable monitor comes in a pretty minimal packaged box. Opening the box, you get the monitor with the magnet folio case already on it. The screen itself has a protective plastic cover taped to the front to prevent any unnecessary scratches. The monitor itself has a very nice build quality feel to it, having an all-metal look and feel. Accessories in the box: a wall adapter, and a few cables: HDMI cable, and two USB-C to USB-C cables. Setting up the monitor was pretty easy, plugged in the USB-C cable to the wall adapter and into the USB-C port, and plugged in the HDMI cable to my computer. The monitor contains a full HDMI port. Most monitors I come across use micro or mini-HDMI ports. This is a nice change as I don’t need to go out my way to purchase specific HDMI cables for this monitor to work! I find that the micro and mini-HDMI connectors tend to be a bit less reliable than the full-size HDMI connector. Once set up, the screen comes through super bright and clear! After adjusting my computer settings and scale, and then adjusting the monitor settings, it was ready to go. The menu buttons are on the left side of the monitor, I would have appreciated some keys or identifiers on the front of the panel to make it easier to use, but you quickly remember where the buttons were after a few tries. The monitor comes through super bright right out the box, I adjusted the brightness and reduced the contrast. Turning on DCR definitely enhances certain viewing modes. The built in speakers are nice to have in a pinch, they’re not going to beat your speaker set up, but they easily can do when you need some audio.

I’ve been using the UPERFECT 15.6” Portable Battery Touchscreen Monitor (120Hz) for a little while now, and it has genuinely exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The aluminum body feels premium, solid, and far more durable than plastic alternatives. The folding smart cover works well, and the quad speakers are surprisingly loud and clear for a monitor of this size. Most importantly, the customer support was exceptional. I had a small hiccup with my initial setup, and UPERFECT’s support team resolved it immediately. They were professional, courteous, fast, and genuinely friendly—a rare combination these days. It left me feeling very confident in the product and the company behind it. Final Verdict: A fantastic portable monitor with excellent image quality, smooth touch response, clever features, and top-tier customer support. Highly recommended for travelers, gamers, remote workers, or anyone who needs a reliable second screen anywhere.

Great monitor. The cover doesn't work. Part of the reason I bought this monitor was for the cover. One less thing to buy or worry about. The size and dimensions are great. Touch screen works like a charm. Compatable with my phone. Worth the cost for the big thing. Easy plug and go set up. And carries its own charge so it doesn't drain my phone. Con: The cover can only work on 2 positions. Flat or on the more up right middle ridge. On the outer ridge which is where I need it it just slides down. The monitor is too heavy and just slides or flops flat. Did someone even try to use this before they produced it?

I'm using it with my Xbox series S. Display looks stunning with 4k. And colour grading is also good

Kind of cheap and crappy. It loses the signal with my Mac Pro a lot. Sigh. Should have shelled out and bought an iPad for a second screen.

There is around 3pixel distortion line at the bottom. Works well with Macbook Pro 4K @ 60Hz Windows laptop 4K @60Hz Can be used with type C with & without power (low brightness). HDMI working and external power is required

I was quite happy with this monitor initially but it spoilt in less than a week with continuous daily use. I am very shocked at the poor quality of this monitor.
