The initial beading of this product indicates that it will be a good chemical protectant for your paint, the water does simply bead off and the gloss coating is seriously impressive. Application is easy, simply cannon-on, rinse off - don't let it dry! (Also, run some water through your cannon after application as it can and will gunk up after multiple uses!) I've deducted 1 star from my review, as I found that this coating simply doesn't last as long as other options that I have tried. Albeit, my car gets washed more than the average - with it having a weekly maintenance wash during the summer months, I found that by week 3 the effectiveness of this product has faded a lot and water was beginning to sheet. It's to be noted that my maintenance washes are exclusively with PH Neutral products, so you'd really hope that they wouldn't affect the coating too much. This product has not vivid smell, especially when applied. At £17 for 5L, it's extremely good value for money, even if you do find yourself reapplying it more frequently than you would another product.

Amazing product, spray on rinse off, deep shine and water beads nicely

This Turtle Wax Speed Seal was easy to apply and gave a really impressive finish. After washing the car thoroughly, I sprayed it on a few panels at a time using a hand sprayer, waited a minute or two, and rinsed off. The key is not letting it dry on the surface, once rinsed, it came off cleanly and left a glossy, streak-free result that looked like I’d spent far longer detailing than I actually had. I followed up with a shammy to remove any leftover droplets, and the shine was excellent. It’s held up well over time, and I’ve noticed the car stays cleaner for longer, dust and dirt don’t cling as easily, and rainwater slides off the surface nicely. It’s a good option if you want to reduce how often you’re washing the car. The formula is ready to use, which saves time, but I did find I used more product than expected, especially on a larger vehicle. It doesn’t stretch as far as some concentrated alternatives. Also, it’s important to work quickly. If the product dries before rinsing, it can leave marks that are difficult to remove. Overall, this is a great product for achieving a professional-looking finish at home. It’s best used in cool conditions or shade, and working in sections gives the best results. At the time of reviewing, it’s a bit more expensive than some alternatives, but the finish and ease of use make it a worthwhile option if you’re after a quick, high-gloss result.
