I've ordered this product several times and have never encountered any that seemed stale or have shown any degradation. I note that these are thoroughly toasted and have an extremely low moisture content, and are thus likely to have a very extended shelf life. Indeed, I tend to order a dozen boxes at a time and the last boxes from each order (I do ensure to rotate my stock to use the oldest first) retain the same flavor and freshness as the first boxes consumed (as much as 3 to 4 months after the first box in an order).
