I've only known about LeBlanc for about a year. About 2 years ago I developed an allergy to a preservative that makes it difficult to find cleaning products. Finding a good laundry detergent has been the biggest challenge hands down....until LeBlanc came along. I've tried no fewer than 5 laundry detergents since devoting my allergy - probably way more than that over the past 2 years. LeBlanc has produced the only detergent that can stand up to weekly dog blanket washing, sweaty workout clothes, and the yuckiness that comes with sweltering summers in Florida. The original is a good scent, and its light so I use it for anything my dog uses. I've tried a few others and haven't been disappointed. One of the reviews I read on Amazon about this product said that they always buy original and then they purchase the Infusions from LeBlanc so they can use the scent they want and as much or little as they like. Genius!! I've only reached out to customer service once and the response was fast and clear. Sometimes when I write to confirm that my allergen isn't in a product I get no response. Sometimes I get a half response. LeBlanc was very clear about their use - or rather refrain from using - my allergen. Bottom line, yes its a bit more expensive. But it's worth it.

Le Blanc definitely makes the best clothes detergent available. I like the Original best, but the other fragrances I've tried are also high quality and luxurious. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. The Laundry Wash may seem expensive but luckily a small amount goes a long way and it is a good stain remover. When purchasing every day household items, I like to be able to support a family-owned company that makes all its products in the U.S.A. I am looking forward to also trying their Infusion (fabric softener) and Linen Water. Le Blanc manages to make doing the laundry enjoyable!

I bought the detergent specifically to wash my down comforter, but I decided to wash a few white loads before I wash the comforter with a detergent and I must say that I really enjoy the scent. Probably the best fresh smelling scent I've smelled from a detergent. I intentionally washed loads that were heavily stained and to my surprise the detergent was able to lift the stains out. I don't know what type of fabric softening properties that are in this detergent, but it made the clothes really really soft, so I appreciate that part.

The test -- I own several white cotton beefy tees (Hanes). They constantly show stain spots, especially from dribbling my tea, fresh orange drippings, or other substances when in my couch potato mode. For many years, I have used Tude or Gain always rubbing those spots directly with some detergent before machine washing in cold water, and then hunging to dry. And just lived with somewhat faded stains. (If I used bleach it would put holes in the fabric.) Today for the very first time, I did the same operation with this Le Blanc Original Laundry Wash. The stains, for the very first time EVER, came out 90-100% GONE! I couldn't believe it. Nice, white shirts. Expensive stuff, but maybe worth it for me.

Love this fabric wash. I use it for everything. It smells so good and is better for our clothing than regular detergent.
