I don't really notice a difference on our floors, but it definitely stops the mop and dirty water tank from smelling foul. I was a little concerned about the additives, as we walk barefoot in the house and I've had allergic reactions to floor care products before, but I haven't had issues with this particular solution even when I inadvertently spill a little. For longevity/quantity, I ordered this around 3 months ago and I've barely gone through a fifth of the bottle for our ~1000sqft 1st floor on daily clean cycles.
