Worked great! Makes nice smooth slushies in less than 15 min from start to finish. Just follow the instructions on the side of the machine and you’re good to go. My 10 year old granddaughter made them (supervised), so it’s not rocket science! So far we’ve tried Coke, Dr Pepper and Fanta. It seems some people have issues making it work properly so here are some tips that helped us get the most out of our machine: 1. Make sure your soda is pre-chilled in the refrigerator. If you use warm soda (like we did on the first go) it’ll take much longer to slush up. 2. Fill the metal cup with ice (through the round hole) to half way first, then add salt and then fill all the way up with more ice. We used regular fine salt on the first go which worked ok but on our second go we went with the recommended ice cream salt which worked better for some reason. (FYI the salt doesn’t mix with your drink, it’s in a separate chamber and is only used for the cooling process). 3. Make sure you use sodas with high sugar content. It’s the sugar that creates the slush. Don’t use Coke Zero or some other diet drink. There’s a reason why you can’t get Coke Zero slushies! 4. Be patient and follow the instructions, you can’t go wrong. Have fun! The price was a fraction of the big ones with compressors, which essentially do the same thing. Will get another for my daughter’s family.

First impression is very good. It's cute. A little noisy, but works pretty good. I used regular table salt, not rock salt and a chilled soda and it was slushie in about 10 minutes. A warm soda took a little longer. I did initially freeze the canister for about 20 minutes. I got this for my son for our camper so he could have his own slushie. It doesn't make a lot at a time. Pretty pleased for the price for what I wanted it for.

They were on sale for $44 so I bought two. One for my two sons and one for my young nephews. The only thing it will do is get cold. It won’t slush up.. I ran it for three hours and nothing happened. The Jolly rancher stuff is 30 bucks per bottle. So that’s money down the drain as well.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely LOVES it! Super easy to use and to clean! Makes the perfect slushies!

Everybody should have one

Ordered for grandsons birthday. We used it 3 times and it broke. Contacted the company that makes them and they replaced it with a new one. I was surprised. Needless to say my grandson is waiting patiently for the new one. Thank you to John, who went above and beyond, to replace it. The machine itself works really well for what the kids like. Again thank you for all your help John.

The instructions were kind of hard to understand. And the motor kept stalling. Too big for a household of 2, but, would highly recommend for a party of maybe 5.
