Turn it on, press the settings button to cycle between ball, bicycle, motorcycle, and automobile, then press the power button again to start inflating. It automatically shuts off once it reaches the preset (or adjusted) psi. We inflated all of these super deflated balls as well as a fully deflated bicycle tire and it still has a full battery.
