I need to make zombie green and pumpkin orange, is it possible with this product?

This is black. I don’t know how you would make any shade of green or orange out of black. I don’t think it would work. I would just buy orange and green coloring they have so many shades of those colors maybe you can find the colors your looking for without mixing colors.

Does it contain red 40?

Yes. It says it "may contain one or more of the following U.S. certified colors (Red 40, Red 3, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Blue 1 & Blue 2), or (Titanium Dioxide)"

can this be used to color liquid such as vodka?

It should, just make sure it dissolves fully. This is thicker than liquid food coloring and has a bit of a taste.

The ingredients on the Soft Gel Paste Food Color (Gold) that I have in front of me lists the ingredients as water, sugar. It then states that it may contain one or more of Red 40, Red 3, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Blue 1 or Blue 2. It also has modified corn starch, vegetable gum, citric acid and less than 1% sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate as preservatives. It does not say anything on the label about possible cross-contamination from shared equipment.
