I needed a purse for a wedding and was trying to coordinate metallic shades with a black dress and shoes that leaned more pewter rather than silver. The sequined floral pattern appears to have lovely shades of silver, pewter, even cool gold. The chain strap is thin and not overpowering, yet sturdy. Size easily accommodated a small wallet, glasses, phone, and lipstick. Because I didn't want to leave my purse unattended at a table for hours while I danced and mingled, I ended up wearing it on my shoulder for most of the evening and it was the perfect accessory to my dress. I had no problem with the sequins nor the chain snagging my dress, and I received tons of compliments. I didn't mind the price as the quality is very good. Love, love it!

I needed a nice bag to go with an evening dress (formal night on a cruise). I didn't it to hold much -- basically my phone and a key card. I also wanted something that seemed slightly retro to go with my classic black dress. This fit the bill perfectly. Held my phone just fine and looked nice in my hands. This style went well with black, but I later have carried it on other occasions and it fit in just fine. Have not used the detachable chain (personal preference) but it looks good with and without it.

Super cute mixed fabric went perfect with my black eyelit dress I wore to a wedding. 2 different sized attachable chains to carry over arm or shoulder or use without and carry as a clutch. Excellent value for the price as it looks much more expensive than what it was!

I have a cool skin tone, so the colors that complement my skin tone are Pink, Green, Blue, and Purple - especially the dark or 'jewel' shades of those colors. Because of that, I have a LOT of emerald green, royal blue, royal purple and deep burgundy clothing. This handbag will complement all of those colors, so it's easy to match to just about anything that I already own.The bag looks just as it is pictured: ornate, velvety, rich, and antique-y. It's got ample room for a phone and some other essentials. An unexpected bonus was that there was a chain tucked inside so that the bag can be converted from a Clutch to a Cross-Body. Bonus!The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the quality of the fabric VS the price. The velvet portions are VERY thin, and after a few uses I suspect that it will turn into 'burn out velvet.' I think this bag should have been about $10 cheaper than it was.

I am really pleased with this purse. The price was very reasonable too. I am planning to use it at my nephews wedding later this year. It will look great with my dress and shoes!

Bag was fine but colors were not as expected and do not go with my outfit. I will have to return it.

I ended up purchasing a half a dozen hand bags and holding each one up against my dress to pick the right one (thank you for free returns!). While one other bag matched my dress color slightly better, I had to go with this one, as it's such a classic yet elegant design. The flexible material makes this clutch so much more versatile than the stiff tube-shaped ones; I think they are all similar in interior space, but this one will adjust to different shapes. The color is a true navy and the closure works perfectly (easy to use but snug enough to not open accidentally). The optional chains attach in a way that they can easily be left off or attached and then tucked inside. Overall, great little clutch I hope to be able to use again.
