Great paint! Coats well until the last 5% of the paint then the can sprays a little funny. Simply clean and remove anything loose and spray away! Over spray doesn't stick about 4ft away so in the garage isn't too bad.

Very fine mist of paint requiring multiple coats to create a solid uniform color.

I restore McLane lawnmowers. This is a perfect match for their factory red. It goes on even, there's no drips, and it has great longevity.

Restoring an old motorcycle, striped old paint down to bare metal, cleaned with alcohol, two layers of Rust-Oleum Automotive Self Etching Primer, then 3 layers of this Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint. The paint laid down good, last coat was a bit heavy so it looks glossy smooth. There was few spots I have missed, tried to touch up after 2hrs and that area immediately fried/wrinkled up, so I left it as is and bake dry in the sun for a week before I retry to touch up again, no more fry/wrinkle after a week. However, I continue to leave it to dry, but even after a month, it's dry and smooth to the touch, but if I use my nail try to scratch the paint, it comes off immediately. It's just soft. Someone told me to buy a 2k clear coat to cover it up, so I did, and it does make the most outer layer much harder and nail scratch resistant. But when I was installing the screws and nuts, all the paint behind screw head and nut will just get scratched off as I tighten it. I think all spray paint will just ends up soft, unless you get those engine paint that requires you to heat up to 200f for 1hr to cure (if you have oven to fit your piece).
