Can Boveda directly touch my products?

Yes. Inside each Boveda is all-natural salts and water sealed in a leakproof membrane. Boveda doesn’t change the taste of your items. The humidity control preserves their already great flavor. Boveda is FDA compliant and food safe.

Do you tear open the brown Boveda packet?

NO!!! If your Boveda arrived individually wrapped in cellophane, remove that plastic overwrap before slipping the humidity control pack into your humidifier box. DO NOT OPEN the brown packet itself.

When Should I Replace Boveda?

Every 2 to 4 months in a wood humidifier box or 6 to 9 months in an airtight plastic container. Subscribe to Boveda to have replacements automatically sent to you at a frequency that’s right for you.

Can I recharge Boveda?

葉巻・パイプの湿度管理の決定打

この製品、Boveda はかつて Humidipak と呼ばれていたものです。 "2-way humidity control" と書いてあるように、吸放湿を行う点がこれまでの加湿器などとの大きな違いです。なので加湿剤というより調湿剤と言った方がいいのかも知れません。放湿だけでなく吸湿も行う、という特性から、一度使ったバッグも、過湿の環境に置いておくと見事に新品同様に蘇ります。（但し、かつては "Disposable" とか "Non-refillable"、"Non-reusable"、"Replace every 2 months" と明記されてはいましたが）またこの製品の大きな長所として、入れ過ぎても基本的に過湿にならないと言う点も上げられるでしょう。

ただくるくると口を巻いてテープで止めてあるだけなので、ジップロックで保存しないと乾いてしまいます。葉巻のヒュミドールのシーズニング用の87%だったかのボベダがあったので、それは必要ないので保湿に同梱してます。
