Review: Awesome beans for one person meals. - I've always loved Bush's beans but could never find the 8.3 oz size cans in most grocery stores, at least the vegetarian version. The big cans didn't work well for me because I'd have them for a meal but then not finish them up soon enough. This is the perfect size for a meal with rice or as a side dish. I love the flavor and texture. I tend to like food on the sweet side so the sweetness of these beans fits my taste buds. If you don't like sweet type beans these may not be for you. They have that old style "Boston Baked beans" taste I remember my mom making when I was a child. Loved them then, love them now.

I've always loved Bush's beans but could never find the 8.3 oz size cans in most grocery stores, at least the vegetarian version. The big cans didn't work well for me because I'd have them for a meal but then not finish them up soon enough. This is the perfect size for a meal with rice or as a side dish. I love the flavor and texture. I tend to like food on the sweet side so the sweetness of these beans fits my taste buds. If you don't like sweet type beans these may not be for you. They have that old style "Boston Baked beans" taste I remember my mom making when I was a child. Loved them then, love them now.
