Excellent shoes. Finally found shoes with toe room that still have cushioning. I am so sick of having to choose one or the other. Wanting toe space should not mean I have to wear barefoot shoes hat have no cushioning and bruise the bottoms of my feet. And these are also very stable shoes so the thick foam doesn’t make me feel like I’m going to roll my ankle like the hoka bondi did. These are exactly what I wanted. I immediately walked 3 miles after putting these on for the first time and I couldn’t be happier. If they hold up I will be buying Altra again.

First thing. I bought these for the wide toe box cause I have curved pointer toes from running doe many years. However I still wish they made a wide. Second they are ok on weight. 3rd I came from hokas. And the hokas were more comfortable. I would still recommend the purchase just go up half size if you have wide feet. Good looking shoes tho.

Love these! Those who find these shoes too tight across the top should try bar lacing with 54” laces, makes all the difference in the world. I have three pairs now. Excellent heal stability which I need. Would like to have this design in a more robust fabric for winter use. My application is Nordic walking and gum use, not running. I tried a pair of Altra Torin 7 model but rubbed under lateral ankle and had to return.

Very comfortable and great style. The red color is more pink and the foam isn’t durable. Besides that, the fit is great, and they are great for walking and running. Very comfortable, but you should know the color is pink and the foam is already torn after wearing them one day. I’m not sure if I would buy them again. The price was good, but I want something more durable. I’m not sure how long these will last. They’re breathable too.

I was looking for a pair of low-stack, low(ish) drop shoes to aid my transition to barefoot. Altra's website guidance indicates that someone with a 28.6cm heel to toe length should be wearing a UK size 10 (29cm). Although my feet sort of fit in them, I found them too small around the top of my foot, unfortunately, and will have to decide whether to take a punt on a pair of 10.5s.
