Chris-Craft Boats: An American Classic

Beautiful pictures and well written. What a surprise to see clones of the3 Chris Crafts that we had when I was a kid!

If you have heard of Chris Craft Boats, then this the book for you, it is very Informative and it has lots of beautiful pictures.

Bought this as a gift for my husbands grandfather who used to work for Chris Craft. He loved it!

The book described and illustrated well the evolution of the Chris Craft company and its boats. Beautiful pictures.

Library book. No purchase. What's not to like. Gorgeous boats a hundred some years ago and gorgeous boats now. We had a Chris Craft plant in my hometown till 87 or so. My wife's grandfather worked there full time. My mother in law worked there a few summers. Her uncle worked for CC in FL for a few years. Great photos. Good history of the brand. I was unaware as to what Chris Craft is up to now. Well out of my price range. They appear to be doing very well indeed, which is a wonderful thing. Great book. If you like Chris Craft or indeed any wooden boats, you will not be disappointed.

The photos are fantastic, lots of gorgeous old boats and some nice shots of the current offerings. Though the entire OMC days are missing completely from the book. Many of us worked at Chris*Craft in that period and it's a shame that none of our work was in the book
