This is a good commuter bag if you don’t need to carry a lot. First, it does not weigh much, which was a major consideration for me, because I walk a fair bit to and from work. It also has a chest strap to keep it from sliding on your shoulders. Together, the light weight and the strap make it comfortable. The bag easily holds a large laptop, my lunch bag, and my water bottle inside. The small side pocket can fit a mobile phone. I have another Thule backpack that worked crossing the ocean and carrying items on vacation, as well as being a commuter bag (only downside was that bag had no chest strap. I was very surprised when I bought this one and the zipper failed the second day. However, the replacement has worked perfectly. Overall, a good backpack.

I've now had this backpack for almost six months. I wanted an everyday carry that also worked well for business travel and reviewed numerous bags before making this decision. I absolutely love this backpack! I love the mallard green color with contrast lining. The storage capacity is excellent and I've crammed a peacoat into the "life" section. The side pockets easily accommodate my liter Nalgene and my 40 oz metal water bottles. The front and back loops on the top are great for airport restrooms. It's comfortably padded to wear through long days in the airport and also sits great when slid over the suitcase handle. I have no problem fitting my 17" laptop, which I was concerned about, and my iPad in a rugged case. Yes, it can be a bit of a black hole, but that certainly isn't a bad thing for travel. It does look a little weird in the front when it doesn't have a lot in it, but still sits upright without issue. I am very happy with this purchase!

I ordered this for my son. We would like him to be able to separate school and life in one backpack. We can fit a laptop and a 1” binder in the rear section but it is very tight. His shoes (granted they are 13) take up most of the main compartment, and we had wanted to add a packing cube (small one, with just one set of gym clothes, small wipes, anti-persperant) and a lunch bag. We really wanted to fit all of that, comfortably in the bag, but it is just too small. We wish the bag was significantly larger, and the split was more 50/50 between the two main compartments. The hard safe zone is overkill, and makes the space hard to use as the opening is too small. It also makes the mesh net on the front very hard to use. My son carries a Nalgene silo and that was our backpack plan if the side pockets were not big enough. Both do feel nicely stretchy. I know there is a larger version of this bag but the main compartment opens completely differently, almost like suitcase and that is not what we are looking for. We are also thinking the tech compartment wont be any larger, and if he has to add a book next semester it wouldn’t fit. I really wish they made the bag this way but larger and more 50/50. The only other thing is the logo. My son did not like the very noticeable logo on the front of the bag in white on black. He planned to cover it. Even though it will not work for us, it is a very nice bag, and if you have a little less to carry it would be a great choice.

Love this bag. The zippers are smooth, its got plenty of room for a day trip or 2 plus work electronics. The top pocket is soft so things won't get scratched. Overall, its a great backpack for work, play or light travel days. There is a clear pocket in the front compartment that works great for toiletries.

Excellent quality and very comfortable to carry. Plenty of space and compartments to keep everything organized. Perfect for daily use or travel.

I have ordered multiple bags and this one is superior based on my needs. It will hold my 17.3" laptop and my 12" iPad at the same time. There is plenty of room for other supplies, and after a year of using the bag the quality is evident and I am well-pleased. Style is an opinion, but if this bag fits your style then I am confident you will be pleased with the functionality and quality. Kudos to THule for a job well done!

Not the best thule backpack for sure. However is an excellent choice for the price

Mochila muy bien diseñada y con una calidad de materiales excelente. Desde el primer momento transmite sensación “premium”: el tejido se nota resistente, las cremalleras (YKK) son muy suaves y todo el conjunto está muy bien rematado. La distribución de los compartimentos es otro de sus puntos fuertes. Tiene espacio de sobra para el día a día o incluso para una escapada corta, con una sección muy bien organizada para portátil (probado con 15,6 pulgadas) y tablet, ambos acolchados y protegidos en caso de dejar la mochila en el suelo. También hay espacio para algunos accesorios (cargador, bolígrafo, llaves). El bolsillo principal tiene capacidad suficiente para llevar utensilios del día a día y un bolsillo con cremallera para los accesorios que necesiten mayor protección. Por último, el bolsillo de fácil acceso exterior (donde está el logo) está protegido y tiene un interior aterciopelado, perfecto para dejar las cosas más sensibles como los cascos. Además, por fuera cuenta con múltiples enganches exteriores y dos bolsillos, muy prácticos para acceder rápidamente a botellas de agua, paraguas o accesorios. Se nota que está pensada tanto para trabajo como para viajes o uso diario. En general, una mochila muy completa, cómoda y con acabados de gran nivel.

Distribución de espacios, calidad de de los materiales, muy práctica para uso urbano, e incluso en alguna actividad outdoor.
