Great bike!
I received my bike about a week ago. It was packaged extremely well! It took about an hour to unpack and assemble, but I'm fairly handy at doing that kind of stuff. The bike seems to be built very well. It is heavier than your standard bicycle for sure, but it handles and rides great. I am very impressed with the power and torque of the motor. I weigh about 200 pounds and it barely knows I'm on it when it's time for the motor to kick in. The life of the battery has been exceptional. After I charged the battery, I got about 85 miles on it before I decided to charge it again, but I still had 34 percent battery life left. I feel certain I could have gotten over 100 miles on it before it "needed" to be charged. I've had it up to 38 mph in the unlocked mode with me pedaling about as hard as I can to see how fast I could go on a flat surface. My legs probably just couldn't pedal any faster. I did get it up to 41 going downhill, but gravity was helping me out on that one. That is really fast on a bicycle!! Most of my riding is in Pedal Assist Mode 2, and my speed averages 15 to 17 mph at that level with minimal effort on my part. Mode 3 jumps me up to about 23 mph, which is kind of fast for the majority of the riding that I do, but in some areas it's perfect. I'm 5'8" and while throwing my 58 year old leg over it to get on or get off is a little tight, once I'm on the bike it's fine. If you are shorter than 5' 7" you might need to be a little more flexible than I am to be comfortable doing that. I bought the ultimate package that came with all the accessories and they are handy to have. The bag that fits on the luggage rack is perfect to carry your stuff in. I am very pleased with this bike, so much so that I'm looking to buy a 20" model for my wife. I initially didn't want the 4 inch wide tires, but now that I have them I'm glad I do. They add stability and I think they make the ride a little smoother. There are so many different brands of e-bikes out there it's hard to decide which one is right for you. If Freesky has a model that suits your needs, I would certainly recommend them!

Great ebike at a great price!
This ebike is unreal! Itโs like what I imagined being in the future would be like when I was a kid! Very powerful motor, super heavy duty! It is a big heavy bike (almost like riding a dirt bike) but still somehow easy to ride and pedal with no assist. I get almost as many looks from gawking people as when I drive my hotrod! People call it nightrider since itโs all black. I put 140mm crank arms on it (it comes with 170mm) so I could actually keep up with the emotor while at top speed, which for me is about 33mph. (It has to be unlocked with a code that I got from freesky tech support otherwise itโs locked at 20mph) I upgraded the shock, seat, and put a shock absorbing seat post on it which made it super comfortable and smooth even on rough terrain at high speeds. I also ordered the bag that amazon recommended (JXFUKAL) it expands to 40L and fits perfectly on the rack! My first ebike got stolen so I bought the biggest lock and chain I could find on amazon. I also put a hidden airtag (hidden under the water bottle cup holder) and an alarm on it! Take precautions ebikes are a highly stolen item nowadays. Great value for the money. I researched ebikes for weeks and this was the one I really wanted, it has all the features I wanted at about half the price of other equivalent ebikes. At max power and speed it probably goes 60 miles. Iโve never tested it all the way to zero percent but thatโs my guess based on battery percentage. At a low power assist level I can ride for dozens of miles and the battery barely drains, if I had to guess it would probably go at least 180 miles (probably more) at low power on flat road. If youโre thinking about getting an ebike I donโt think you can do much better for the money!

Turns off by itself while riding it.
I had a problem with the bike, it turned off at times when using it, also it was a little slow the customer service response. So I gave a 3 star rating, because the bike itself was good (other than the battery issue) Now I'm changing my rati.g to 4 star because Carl contacted me from support and was a pleasure to talk to. Very professional and his assistance was really good. I might change the rating later after I receive the new battery.

My first E-bike
My bike arrived in a strong box and inside, the bike frame, wheels and parts were very secure. I cut the box down each side so I didnโt have to lift this 80lb beast. I assembled it by myself. Itโs heavy so I removed the battery to make it easier to lift the front forks onto the front wheel. I ran into an issue. When I pushed the front wheel skewer through the wheel, something was blocking it. I decided to ask ChatGPT what it thought. I gave it a picture as well. My boy swore up and down it was a permanent plug and my bike wasnโt supposed to have a skewer type. So I reached out to customer support and was helped by a gentleman I think named Andy he asked me to hold on and he would get in touch with his technician. They got back to me and told me to try to find something to tap that blockage out and so I found something that could go through it and I tapped it and sure enough it came right out I was able to connect the wheel. I told Chat he messed up big time. He agreed. Any how, the point being the customer support is excellent. Not super fast because of time difference, but personal and accurate. The bike ride is good. Powerful and immediate acceleration. Uphill = easy. Gears change pretty flawlessly. Pedal assist is fun. Rear shocks are decent, front are a little firm out of the box. I rode at night and the lights are great! Iโve only put 10 city street miles on it so I canโt speak for more than that for now. Maybe Iโll update later.

Amazing engineering.
I have used it for 5 days now and wow, what a piece of machinery. Very high quality frame and weld points. Tons of customizations you can make e.g. suspension, speed cap, seat of course, the positioning of of the handle-bar equipment, etc. I will say this is a very fast and quiet bike though so I would caution buying this for a 13-18 year old. It's more for adults who have experience on motorcycles and understand how traffic works or even if you are in the rural areas how to watch for wildlife and potholes. As for assembly, it took me around 40 minutes to unbox it by-myself. Assembly took me around an hour and wasn't confusing at all (I am mechanically retarded). The user manual that comes with it gives a step-by-step assembly procedure. There are also some great videos you can watch on the assembly procedures. As for the capping and uncapping the speed limit on the bike, I would suggest the following: *Every time you start it up, by default it is in 20mph cap "mode" *Spend 4-5 days learning the procedures, feel, throttle, breaking, etc. *When you feel comfortable going faster on the bike, start it up and hold the right arrow ==> button for 3 seconds or so. For mine the first time I did this it said "32" and I was completely confused. I could still only go 20mph. That's because 32kmph=20mph. Hold the right arrow again and you should see 99. That means you have no speed cap. Best part of the bike - if you pedal while you are going downhill or on flats, the battery recharges itself really quickly. My commute to work is 7 miles through the hills of of PA and I get to work and I still have 100% battery charge. Also, in my opinion it's a very clean, well designed, and sharp looking bike. Worst part - They forgot the bracket that holds my tail-light onto the seat post. I emailed them and they are 2-day UPS'ing me the part on Monday. So, if you are single, have a "shortish commute", and want to save 10k-12k year on a car, get this bike. Get a Walmart+ membership have have your food and stuff delivered! LOL.

Samsung Battery / Freesky Bike = solid choice
Soo happy with my purchase, this bike is so much fun and boy does it cruise, no problems going uphill this thing pulls, battery life is great, I did a lot of research before my purchase and one of the biggest selling points for me was the Samsung battery!!! ... Samsung has a great reputation and freesky new what they were doing pairing it to thier bikes . . The shocks are amazing and adjustable can set them to your confort , the bike is pretty heavy but in a good way , other wise this thing would do wheelies when you take off.. also with the tires on it , it can pretty much go through all sorts of terrain.. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family to get one. This thing is solid and hand welded as well... so much fun!!! ..

Very happy with my purchase
The bike performs great so far. I use it primarily as a commuter bike to work which is about a 30-minute ride each way. The 20 mph cruise control is probably what I love the most. I purchased a couple upgrade items. One is the extension to bring the handle bars up a few inches. I'm 6' 1", and it made a good improvement to my ride position. The second upgrade I just ordered. The original rear suspension is really tight, rated for 1000 lbs, and not adjustable. I decided to try a replacement air suspension to see if that will give me a less bouncy ride. Support has been very good. One of the plastic wheel reflectors were broke during shipping and they sent a replacement. And working with them on the upgrades has been a pleasure as well. I highly recommend this bike if you are looking for something that is well made, has good power, and a long battery range.

Pleasantly surprised
After watching some YouTube video and reading reviews I took a chance trying out the Freesky swift horse e bike. Im really impressed with the company! Yes not the highest spec bike on the market but its totally upgradable with parts. The company itself has been really responsive too. I ordered the upgraded shock and it accidentally didnt come in with it, but they express shipped it right away and i am glad I got it! Definitely worth giving a chance.

4 month 400km review
I have put 400 km on my swifthorse pro, purchased Dec 17 2025. So far the bike has been fantastic and I am very happy with the ride and the performance. There are always a few little issues here and there but I still give it a 5 out of 5. Pro's - The range on the bike is outstanding. I am using pedal assist 1 up to 3 depending on the stretch of road or trail i am on. and sometimes for fun i'll unlock it for the full speed option. I am getting about 110 km with about 25% battery left. I am not draining it all the way as per the research i have done. - The bike is very stable while riding with the fat tires and the weight. Note: I have installed flat out in the tires so i dont have to worry about flats. I also added on a stem extender to raise the handlebars 3 inches as i am tall. - The build quality and the look of the bike is a head turner. Beautiful bike. I wanted green, but they were out so i got the blue which is still very sharp. - The 4 piston hydraulic brakes are very strong. Stops you quickly. - Customer Service from Freesky is top notch. Its always scary buying online and what support you'll get. they have been great. Cons - The bike is heavy, which i knew beforehand. Just understand this when buying. For me i prefer this for stability but it is heavy. - The stock rear shock is okay. I am big guy 225lbs, so any hard bump and the rear shock bottoms out. No option to stiffen it. I know Freesky sells an upgrade. i will likely just get one off amazon thats a bit cheaper. - The rear fender rattles against the rear bike rack when going over any bump.. nty a huge deal but an irritant. Be nice if it was connected to the rack so it wouldn't do this. I'll likely just wrap a small cushion around the bike rack bar making the contact to deaden the noise. As mentioned overall i am very happy with the bike and will likely get my wife a step thru version later in year. My brother also rode it and right sway said he wants one :). Hopefully as long as its maintained and taken care of, will last me a few years.

FreeSky e-bike with excellent quality and customer service
Spent a thorough amount of time researching e-bikes and agreed on a FreeSky purchase. Very well packaged with shipping coordinated, combined with good communication from the folks at FreeSky Cycle. Takes a little time on the assembly, but easily managed...just take your time. Good videos on the portal and from others on YouTube. Very impressed with the quality and ride on the this e-bike. Recommended.
