Thought I would leave a review of this as I know that there are loads of this type of item available and from my experience it was tricky to know which was best. I can tell you safely: it’s this one! This was a similar price to most of the others I looked at so was easy to lose amongst them, but really this couldn’t be more perfect. It’s fits brilliantly in the car (although we did measure it up before ordering): a Jaguar XJ. It also look great: a clean, tidy, quality item. Due to how great the quality is it easily protects the car from the unwanted grime brought in by our pup (especially sand!) and it easy to clean by either wiping down (wet or dry) or completely taking out to wash it. What’s more is my pup loves it! He seems to feel really secure in this and napped for the whole car journey, sprawled out along the back; without this he was always shuffling about, seemingly struggling to get comfy. It has pockets for anything you need to bring: dog lead, treats, poo bags or toys. It also comes with two car harness to ensure your dog, or dogs, are secure when on the road. But the very best bit for me, something that was missing from a lot of the others I looked at, is the mesh in the middle, meaning that we can easily see our dog from the front, and even better, he can see us! It also allows for the aircon to get through to him to make sure he’s not overheating. Honestly couldn’t recommend more.

Just what I've been waiting for and here's hoping the sides will keep some of the dog hair off my doors. I love this style because the odd time I've had to brake hard no harm every comes to the dog. (as opposed to those seat covers that go down the front of the rear seat, heaven knows what would happen to your dog then). If you love your dog/pet, then this is the one you need. I've been looking all over for this type of seat cover and I have seen them in a large high street pet store but nearly fainted when I saw the price. This one does everything I need and at a third of the price you'd be "barking" mad not to get this one.

Recently bought this for my two dogs in order to protect the rear seat of my new car and keep them safe. It was an excellent purchase, fits my car perfectly, and on our first trip out one of my dogs was very car sick 🤢 all I can say is thank goodness I bought this beforehand! It was so easy to clean while travelling with the help of some kitchen roll and baby wipes, totally waterproof so the seats were unmarked, I would definitely recommend all dog owners purchase one of these if they want to keep their pets safe and their car seats protected *****

Never bought one of these before, but it was recommended by family members so I thought I'd try it out - it is simplicity itself to install (fits in a Toyota Auris snugly) and the dog seems perfectly happy with it - he jumps right up and waits to be clipped in, then is more or less settled for the journey. If he does move around he can no longer fall down into the footwell. The pocket at the front is handy for lead etc., and the mesh panel between the front seats is a nice touch.

Made life so much easier, I have two short haired dogs and the hair loss was making cleaning the car horrible, now it’s so much easier and the dog safety belts supplied keeps my dogs secure. If you have dogs that do not lose hair then this is even better as all you would have to do is wipe over to keep lean. I recommend this product.

Excellent for my puppy keeps him in the back of the car where I want him although he has already broke one of the plastic clips the hangs the side up it still works wish it was metal so it didn't brake but it's good for the price I paid and I love the pockets I keep his lead and ball in there the seatbelt restraint comes loose even after I have tighten it but he can't get in the front of the car so not a big deal for me I would buy this again

Bought this to fit my Discovery Sport. I already have one that is too small, even though that one also says it fits SUVs. This one really is big enough, particularly, the height of the back. The high zip up side panels are particularly good and also protect the car when my dogs jump in/out. It also comes with two anchor straps rather then just one like most. Great if, like me you have more than one dog.The addition of zips either side of the mesh panel (like many others) would allow this to be used with a back seat passenger and would make it perfect.

The main improvement that this has over previous hammocks I have bought is that it has 2 zippable side panels that stops the edge of the seat bench and car doors getting dirty. Also because the hammock is sufficiently wide for a large car, the side panels fold down over the side of the bench and cover the door sill. The padded base is another useful feature. My dog is 47Kg and has plenty of room in this and looks very relaxed and comfortable when we are travelling.
