SHORFUNE High Visibility Safety Vest with Pockets, Mic Tab, Reflective Strips and Zipper, ANSI/ISEA Standards

TL;DR - this is a good safety vest and I’ve not regretted buying it instead of just using the free vest that my employer gave me on my first day. If you need a good safety vest I do recommend this one. I just started with a company in their warehouse and all new employees have to wear an orange safety vest until they been there for ninety days. They did provide me with a vest for free but other than the company logo there was nothing decent about it - it had zero pockets, and I’m the type of guy that puts crap into his pockets, such as the RF scanner that I have to use all day long instead of putting it on my life. So I said the heck with it and found this particular safety vest and I’m quite happy with it. It has two pockets on the abdomen area and another pocket on the upper right breastplate that is great for holding my reading glasses (man, I really HATE growing older!) and it has a small pen pocket to the right of that, great for - well, a pen or a Sharpie marker. And on the left side it has a clear pocket that is great for holding your ID or employee badge if you work somewhere that issues employee badges. I’ve not washed it as I’ve not been sweating in a cold warehouse in a cold state in the middle of winter, but I think that it would wash just fine with no issues, although I’d not leave it in the dryer for too long - maybe ten minutes and then pull it out and hang it up to air-dry. The vest closes securely with no issues there so it’s definitely stretchy where it needs to be and it’s a nice looking vest as well. It is also light as a feather, adding virtually nothing unless you put heavy items in the pockets. I’m glad that I bought this vest - I’ve had zero issues with it and once my ninety days are up and I no longer have to wear it I will give it to another new person who is still in their probationary period.

I've struggled for a couple of years with an old reflective vest that went over my head and had velcro straps (that were always getting twisted) at the waist. Finally, I realized I would wear this needed protective device for my morning 2 mile walk a lot more often if it were easier to put on. I live on a country road (no sidewalks) with high-speed traffic and lots of winter fog. This zip-up vest has solved my problem! At such a low cost, I worried it would be flimsy, but it is a nice heavy material that I expect will last a very long time. The zipper is sturdy, the reflective stripes are effective, and the color (orange) is quite bright. There are more pockets than I know what to do with, so it has made grabbing my phone or getting a kleenex out to blow my nose much easier! I'm small -- 5 foot 3 and 125 pounds, but my ski jacket is bulky. The medium fits very well over the top. I'm extremely pleased with this highly economical purchase!

I wanted to wear this product before giving it a review, and...I love it! Easy Velcro pockets in the front, that don't get in the way. Honesty, right now, I've only kept lip balm and moisture towelettes in there, so I can't speak for how much bulk can be fitted in the pockets without becoming annoying. I've hooked my work gloves on the right-side (hangs about mid-chest); for wearing TO and FROM work, and even for at-home use, that's where I'll continue to keep the hooked gloves. But at work, once I put the gloves on, I'm just pocketing the hook or clipping it to my jeans. The location of the black tab for the hook is fine, but the hooks themselves get in the way for what I do. On the left side, my work ID fits nicely in the provided clear badge holder. Above it, there is a smaller hook-eye, which I've hooked my zip-pull extra work badge, which doesn't infringe upon the badge holder. The vest is comfortable and flexible. Very bright and reflective. My ONLY complaint, but it does NOT detract from the product, is that on the back, where I wrote my name, the ink is absorbed, so the letters look faded. Possible grey or silver duct tape will be an easy remedy, but as I don't have any at hand at home, I'm not worried about it. You can still see the letters, but not from far away. Also, and this is a personal preference, on another company's safety vest, their clothing tag at the neck seam is looped, and I simply hang my vest near the door. SHORFUNE's safety vest doesn't have that, so I fold the vest in half before hanging it. Just something I discovered that I liked from one vest that this one doesn't have. A ten-second difference.

Ordered this to wear while plowing for our town. Good product and good visibility. Largest size is 2x. Could not wear over my winter Carhart jacket. When I looked to order a second vest saw that it does not come in anything larger.

My husband got this as a gag gift for work. Whenever someone on his work crew messes up they have to wear the pink vest. They all laugh and it gets passed around a good bit. The vest is washable, has 2 large pockets and 2 smaller pockets that are very functional. Nice vest, good quality. 🦋🙂 Marsha

I work construction and wear my vest everyday. I love the pockets and even the quality of the zipper is good. That’s where a lot of others cheap out. Probably have bought 15-20 of these over the last few years for our crews and still going strong. The fit is excellent as well. I am 5’ 10” and 190 pounds and the large fits me perfectly.

Great quality, worth the price. Replacing older ones for work and they are holding up beyond my expectations.
