If students can use ChatGPT to write an essay in 30 seconds, what does real learning look like now? AI isn't coming to education. It's already here. And most schools aren't ready. Students are using AI tools every day for homework, studying, and tests. Educators, parents, and school leaders are being forced to rethink everything: instruction, assessment, and what it actually means to learn. The Complete Guide to AI in Education cuts through the noise and gives you a clear, practical roadmap for this new reality. Not a technical manual. Not a futuristic theory book. A real-world guide to using AI thoughtfully, ethically, and effectively, without losing the human side of education. This book is for you if you are: A teacher who wants to use AI without compromising real learning A school leader navigating policy, risk, and innovation A parent trying to understand how AI will shape your child's education Anyone who believes education must evolve but not lose its core purpose Here's what you'll walk away with: A clear understanding of what AI is and how it's already being used in real classrooms Practical ways to improve lesson planning, feedback, tutoring, and differentiation using AI A smart approach to academic integrity in the AI era, beyond simply calling it cheating Tools and strategies to increase student engagement and personalize learning Plain-English guidance on ethics, bias, and data privacy Real examples from educators using AI today to close learning gaps A framework for teaching critical thinking and AI literacy alongside content This book doesn't overhype AI or warn against it. It helps you understand what's happening, make smart decisions, and keep learning at the center of everything you do. AI is already shaping how your students learn. The question is whether you guide it or react to it. Review: Learning about ethics - This book is very interesting. Through it, you learn how technology has advanced in the educational field, making the work of educators more efficient and sometimes easier. I found it very interesting to read how the book explains step by step how AI helps teachers organize their projects, lessons, and student assessments. This is a great help for both teachers and students. The book also explains that it is important to learn about ethics when using AI tools. This was very interesting to me because I have a nephew who is going to high school, and in English class, from the first week, they made him and my brother sign a notice about not using plagiarism in their essays. This is a good example of how to teach children about ethics when using AI. The book is a gem; it is very informative and, in addition to explaining all aspects of how it is used with the new generations in their education, it also includes real-life cases of how AI is successful in schools and has helped many teachers gain children's attention and help them improve in their studies. Highly recommended. Review: Learn how to use AI in the classroom - *The Complete Guide to AI in Education* offers a clear and practical overview of how artificial intelligence can transform teaching and learning. Excellent overview with list of resources
Lembo’s new book on AI in education should be on the essential reading list for educators at all levels as well as for parents and members of the community at large. Although Lembo addresses much of the content to teachers, everyone needs to know how and why AI is important and what implementation of AI involves. Professional development for educators—who are, in many areas of the country, overworked and underpaid—is essential. Teachers will need time and resources to learn strategies for successfully implementing AI in the classroom. Lembo discusses ethical issues and suggests ways to involve students in critical thinking as they learn to use AI. Particularly valuable is the well-organized, extensive list of AI resources, each with a brief description, target audience, cost, and link. As a retired educator, I feel that the community/taxpayers must understand the need for-- and support funding for--equipment, programs, training, and universal Internet access. Teachers must be involved in decision-making and parents must be invited to learn and understand how AI is being/will be used. Lembo discusses all these concerns as she educates everyone about the possibilities and pitfalls of using AI.

Not bad at all
I’ve read a few books on AI lately, and this one wasn’t bad! It’s super easy to follow—didn’t feel like I needed a tech degree to get through it. It actually made me think more about how AI is showing up in schools, both the cool stuff and the kind of weird stuff, like kids using it to do their homework ( I keep checking my kids work). It touches on a lot—student engagement, ethics, even future careers—and does it in a way that feels pretty real. If you’re just trying to get a better handle on how AI fits into education, this is a solid starting point. Nothing too flashy, but definitely worth the read.

The future of education?
Whether we like it or not, embrace it or not -AI is here to stay. This book is for all forms of educators: teachers, administrators, parents, and even students. While AI does present new challenges to educators, like students using it for doing their homework or writing their papers, it is still a useful tool. It can improve classroom efficiency, automate tasks, create lesson-based games, and provide virtual tutoring. AI used correctly and ethically can help foster creativity for students and teachers alike, provide strategies, and improve student engagement.

Incredible Resource for Educators
As someone who teaches executive education at the university level and had recently experimented with using AI, I was intrigued by this book. Is AI that mainstream in education today? After reading The Complete Guide to AI in Education, I realized that while there are some early adopters making headway, there is still plenty of room for innovation in using AI inside and outside of the classroom to better educate students and help teachers make a more impactful use of their time. Filled with case studies, tools introductions, and plenty of use-case scenarios, this book will open your eyes to the vast potential that AI has in evolving our school system forward in a most positive way. Obviously, AI still has many issues to be solved, and I am glad that this book also went through all of these in dedicated chapters to ensure that we use AI responsibly and that the human is always in charge - and responsible for - the output. If you are at all curious as to how AI can help you as an educator, look no further and buy this book!
