The reboot is accompanied by the sound of the hub attempting to connect, failing, and trying again, and again, and again... The only cure is a hard reboot - complete power down then restart. This is NOT desirable in a computer I use as media centre with MediaPortal, required to make unattended recordings. If a Windows update involving a reboot happens then the TV tuners fail. When it is working it is OK, not brilliant though - the tuners take some time to connect to the signal and bring up a channel.Why 'USB'? - well it seems that, despite appearances, this card is not your classic PCIe TV tuner card, with all the speed and stability benefits that modern connection implies, but actually a card bearing a USB2 chip, with the two tuners hard wired to the USB. No doubt this make it much cheaper to produce. Not that I would mind, if this arrangement worked flawlessly - but it doesn't, due to the hardware/driver defects.I did email Terratec about this, and know I am not alone since I found a user raising a similar issue in reviewing the product on Amazon DE. However as my period to return the device for a refund was running out, I decided to return it to Amazon. Paying over Β£70 for something like this, one expects a product that works without flaws.If I get a reply from Terratec I will update here.UPDATE - Well I did get a reply from Terratec. This was essentially telling me to remove and reinstall the same driver having made sure Win10 was fully updated (it always is), there is no 3rd party virus software running (there isn't), all the latest drivers are running (they are), and so on - basically standard advice on good 'computer house keeping' that I'm already familiar with and implement. As such the reply doesn't inspire any confidence that it is the solution to the problem I've outlined. So good job I've returned card for a refund.
