As far as I am concerned, if the bottle lasts this long the price is not bad at all! I am ready to jump in and try the conditioner also, which I did not purchase the first go round. I still love the shampoo. A happy customer!! The scent is clean. I did not expect much lather, and there is very little. It does make my curly hair curlier, which was not necessarily my goal :) My hair feels clean after using. I checked the pH, and it is 3, which is slightly more acidic than ideal. The goal would be between 5-7. I had written a note to the company asking what the pH was but did not receive a reply, so I decided to do what I needed to find out myself. Yes, it is spendy for a shampoo, but I have relatively short hair and use about the size of a dime at each shampoo, which I do daily to control which direction my curly hair shoots off in, so hopefully it will last a little while for me.
