Love this planter. I was looking forever for a shallow pot to plant planting a handful of succulents in, until I finally found this one. It's got a great look—would do well both indoors and outside—and feels sturdy, unlike a plastic option. It doesn't come with a draining hole at the bottom, but I like that you'd be able to drill through the pot, if you'd like to add one in the future.

This was just the size I was looking for in a shallow bowl to make a succulent arrangement. All components were ordered from Amazon including the artificial plants, rocks and there is green florist foam in the dish as well. The planter was the most expensive part, but was exactly as described and appears an off white/ tannish color. It has felt pads on the bottom already, which is a nice touch to it won't scratch the furniture.

Planter is well made and a nice size as well

I was looking for a low, wide pot to hold a succulent that likes to spread out. This one fits the bill. I almost didn't buy it though because the description was lacking some key details. I knew I would need to drill some holes to provide drainage, but it wasn't clear that this was possible. Turns out that it is. I drilled three holes around the outside ring of the base, since the pot rises up in the center. (I wanted to add a photo to this review, but for some reason it's not providing this option.) I used a masonry bit, but a regular drill bit probably would have done the job. Also, since I planned to have water draining out of the bottom, I needed to know the size at the base. If you plan to do the same, then it will help to know that the base is 11 inches across, so you probably will want a catch tray that is about 12 inches across. Finally, while the height is listed as 4.5 inches, the interior depth is only 3.5 inches because the base of the pot swells up in the middle. This works fine for my plant, but if you have something with deeper roots you'll want to look elsewhere.
