Works great
Works great. I had issues with my main scanner antenna and put it on my scanners NMO mount. It works everything from CB frequencies to Aviation frequencies and fire tone out (I haven’t tried others). Would buy again.

Will need tuned.
Antenna came tuned for about 24mhz. Ended up cutting multiple feet of wire off to get it up into the CB band. When youre tuning it and getting close, make sure to put the rubber cap back on for the last few cuts and measurements. It shifts the tuning up about 200khz in my experience. Used a nano vna and checked with an inline meter for the final reading.

The quality is good if not better than any other brand.
That they are standard will will match any mount that you might have bought from Amazon.

Low profile antenna
Installed on 2015 RAM 1500 bed rail with accessory mount. Doesn’t exceed roofline

Ok, but be ready to cut feet of wire off for SWR <3
With Cobra 29 LTD Classic I had high SWR on transmit on all channels even after calibration. Had to cut wire from antenna to tune it and get SWR < 2. Turns out it was tuned to 25.4 MHz from the factory, and SWR way above 5 even on Channel 1 (at 26.905 MHz). Had to cut 192cm (6 feet) of wire to get the channel 20 SWR to 1.5 (27.205 MHz). Don't know how the average CB operator would figure this out without a NanoVNA. Photos show what I had to do. Doesn't show screen before first cuts. Below is the report I shared to my ham radio club earlier today. Thanks to my ham radio club contact for his help in getting my CB radio back on the air. It led to a morning (and part of my afternoon) tuning my 11m CB antenna (a 2' Prostick). Couldn't believe I had to cut 192cm of wire of it to get the low SWR point at 27.2 MHz (1.4 I think). Out of the box it was tuned to 24.9 MHz. I guess that means it's a 2 wavelength antenna wire. I was surprised to see that my FT 991A with an EFHW for 10/20/40 did a much better job picking up 11m than the Prostick on the CB. I need to put my antenna switch on and do as proper all way comparison. Anyway, at least I'm on the air, and I've learned a few things along the way: replacing the blown reverse polarity protection diode, antenna tuning, improving the grounding of my car hood and NMO mount, and more practice with my NanoVNA.

Perfect Antenna
I purchased this antenna to replace my aftermarket FM/AM Radio antenna that got damaged and corroded in the middle. I use this antenna ONLY as my FM/AM radio antenna, not CB antenna. For this "receiving only" situation it works perfectly! I can not attest to a "transmitting situation" and do not know what the RF would be. The antenna was the cheapest priced antenna i could find while keeping quality up. It is skinnier than i thought it would be, which is always a plus, and it has quite a bit of flex to it. I gave the durability rating a 4 star only because i do not know how it will hold up yet as i only just installed it. I did flex it a bunch before installing it and the coating and Fiberglass rod seem to be of good quality, something that was lacking on my other (non name brand) antenna. So far, i am a very happy customer. I would recommend this product!
