Prime Dental 010-020 Glass Ionomer Multi-Purpose Cement Kit Powder & Liquid

Not sure what people having issues with the product are even doing wrong for it not to work. You mix the powder with the glue, that's it. The resin/glue stuff dries by itself it seems when it hits the air and the powder is just giving it body and the color to match the tooth. Any ratio works depending how thick you need it. Mix it too thick though and it will dry too quick. It dries to a hard porcelain like material that feels and looks like tooth material. Creates a quick hardening strong filler like mixing superglue with baking powder. Best thing to do is experiment with it to understand how fast it sets before using it. I had a tiny hole form on a tooth that I didn't notice that must have silently formed over a while into a huge hole inside the tooth and then out of nowhere a couple days later after I noticed the hole, it just cracked and like 1/3 of the molar tooth went. Didn't even notice since I was eating pizza so I just ate the tooth accidentally with the pizza crust! The cheap filler stuff stuff you can get from grocery or pharmacy stores worst OK but only lasted for like 4-5 days before it wears out/off. Thermoplastic beads work great for ease of application as you can form them with hot water and they look like tooth material but it doesn't stick and isn't sticking like the cheap filler stuff does and lets food get caught between it and the tooth. Cheap filler stuff is also like a piece of clay that hardened but not put in a kiln so it is kind of crumbly. This stuff is the best of both since it looks good, can be squeezed well against/inside the tooth so no space forms to collect food and just judging by how hard it gets, it's probably going to last a lot longer than a week. Internet search says anywhere from months to years.

Had crown fell off but this glued it so strong surprisingly, but it’s too fast that you have to apply it quickly and it stuck for so long

This product works great! I had a crown fall out and the dentist told me the tooth was too far gone to put it back and wanted to do an implant. Well, guess what, this product cemented the crown back in...easy peasy! It sets really quick, so you have to work fast. I also had a gold crown and I was getting a gap between my gum and crown that was starting to hold food. Well, the cement came to the rescue again and filled in the gap. The dentist wanted to pull that one too! I've probably saved about $5k with this product. You might need to add slightly more liquid to the product if it seems too dry. I only took one star away because it sets too fast, and it would better if it was resin modified glass ionomer cement. But still it's a great product if you know what you're doing.

This stuff works great and I have used it several times but you have to be quick because it sets really quick!!!

Does not hold for more than a couple days. Do not waste your money. Used on a bridge that had multiple contact points and was administered properly according to the instructions.
