I love my lid. Not only does it fit my Camelbak Eddy (old one), they also fit my Contigo. My husband liked mine so much that he bought 2 of them.

The media could not be loaded. I love this replacement top for my camelback water bottle! I had the straw top previously and after extended use I was unable to get it clean. I decided on this top because I do not have to worry about any silicone getting cloudy and it is so much easier to clean. I absolutely recommend this replacement over the straw! The top is really strong and durable. I have not had any leaking, which is my number 1 priority. It screws on tight to the bottle and the cap screws on tight to the top. There is a magnet that holds the cap on even after you unscrew it. You will need to pull it off even after unscrewing.Great value and definitely recommend!

If you own a Nalgene widemouth bottle this cap is a huge upgrade over its original wide mouth cap, I would consider a must have. I don’t know what Camelback designed this cap for, but I know if it’s a lot of widemouth bottles on the market. All in all this thing is a great design. I really like the loop carry handle. You can carry your water bottle with two fingers, the flip cap stays in place when open and are drinking. I like this cap so much that I purchased multiples for other bottles that I have after trying the first one. So far, I don’t think any of them have leaked a drop of liquid and this thing has held up to being dropped and thrown around and put through the dishwasher and it holds up amazing.

Must have top. It’s the best design for all the tops that they offer. However, this top will leak with just the magnet close. You have to screw the top tight to prevent leaking.

I bought this cap after the original cap on my 2013 Camelbak chute wore out and started leaving plastic bits in my drinking water 🤢At the time I bought the bottle in 2013, it was $8.99, and I figured I had gotten a good 10 years out of it by 2023, so I started shopping for a new one—only to discover that a new camelbak chute in the same size is $16-18 (at time of writing) Fortunately, I found this replacement part for about $10, and my water bottle is back in service.The new cap is a substantial improvement over the original in basically every way. The original cap relief on a press fit between the inner lip of the cap and that of the water bottle to make a tight, leakproof seal. However, the result was that the cap had to be screwed on to a specific tightness and the seal had to be completed dry. Several times I caught the original cap, which was supposedly “leakproof” leaking on the floor of my car. In its final year, the cap lost its seal to the point that I had to clamp it down really tight and hope it didn’t end up sideways. The new cap solves this problem with a rubber gasket, and I have experienced no leaking trouble at all since. The magnetic retainer for the spout cap is also a huge plus, since the original cap’s clip on retainer never really worked for me.I can’t speak to durability yet, but for less than the price of a new bottle, my water bottle is better than it was new, and that means this cap earns its five stars.
