Beautiful job toning down yellow in silver hair- however other reviews are correct: - it is more blue than purple - if you leave it too long, your hair will be blue/purple rather than toned-down. - package says leave on for 5 minutes: try 3 first, see if that is enough. I do 4. 5=blue hair. I think it smells good, and doesnโt really weigh down my fine hair at all. Leaves hair nice and sleek. Cost effective.

Rarely leave reviews but wanted to leave feedback for brunettes with balayage / highlights โ this works great! So my hair was pulling โredโ and warm and amber โ which I dislike, but Iโm too cheap to spend $250+ at the local salon again. Decided to try this one and love! First washed my hair really well, then left this on for 15 minutes; washed out, then shampooed and conditioned with my regular products. My hair color is back to a shiny brown with natural ash highlights. Thrilled! It really took away the brassiness in my dark hair.

Does the job in terms of toning brassy, bleached hair but at the same time it dries it out even more so thatโs why I took two stars off. Id buy it again as it does the toning job but I recommend combining it with a nourishing hair mask if you already have damaged, dry hair.

You guys, this mask is amazing!! I just touched up my light brown roots I had with Revlon Color Silk ultra light natural blonde. Used the Shimmer Lights shampoo and conditioner, left each on for 3 minutes. Still had the slightest yellow tint and used this mask as suggested for 5 minutes, combed it through from root to ends while my hair was damp. Rinsed out, dried it and finished with a drop of Moroccan Oil on the ends. I'm so excited with my results, and thoroughly impressed with both the Revlon Color Silk brand and the Shimmer Lights products. There's some strawberry blonde lowlights, but I don't mind. All of these together left my hair so soft, lovely fragrance and much healthier than when I went to the salon. This can definitely save you money if used correctly!
